Studio de la Tour in the gardens of the castle

We enjoyed the days in Venes and made many excursions in the vicinity and further afield, including Toulouse, Castres and Albi. It was very nice. The place was fantastic, only the bed could have been a little bigger.
The historic castle structure features distinct round towers and a central body adorned with ivy. A gravel path leads to the entrance, while trees and shrubs are positioned around the grounds, illuminated by the soft light of dusk.

Stunning castle with the beautiful hilltop village of Lautrec nearby. Spacious bedrooms and lovely to have use of the downstairs rooms & facilities for hot drinks as well. Breakfast provided for €7 extra pp. We were delighted to be given a tour of the Château - amazing history - look forward to visiting again in a few years time when further renovation projects have been completed.

Country home with panoramic south-facing view

StefanieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The gite of Sonia and Pascal has been lovingly expanded by Pascal himself. The former farmstead is picturesquely located at the foot of Lautrec, a picturesque village with many medieval buildings and structures. Unique tranquility overlooking the hills and fields. There you can relax wonderfully, there is plenty of space in and in front of the house. Pascal explained everything to us in great detail and gave us many tips for the area. From there, it is about 1 hour to Toulouse, Castres and Albi can be reached quickly. We appreciate the special hospitality.

Very pleasant stay, a large, very comfortable loft with magnificent views of the Pyrenees! The pool is very nice, heated, no feeling of cold when entering. No complaints, great relaxing stay, a few visits to the surroundings and a little reading on a lounger with the view of the Pyrenees! Great!
