For the record, Kathryn and I have stayed many times in Port Fairy. We always tend to look for the same thing each time. It starts with an original stone cottage that is such a part of what makes Port Fairy so unique and special. A little slice of Tasmania in Vic. So it is with a little prior experience, I can honestly put hand on hart and say this was without doubt my favourite trip. The house was everything and more. Warm, comforting, great location and very easy walk to our favourite beach and the main streets of town covering all of your needs. Cafes, food and wine, boutiques and fresh fish off the boat. Park the car and put the keys away for your stay because you just won’t need it. I also never realised how much I love a hot tub. Perfect for a family, group of friends or in our case, just the two of us and a couple of dogs. In our little clan, when you have done or achieved something exceptional, we simply say “good job”. Good job Fiona, we honestly loved it all. OX

A magical place nestled in the rainforest but near the beach, a wonderful view- we just sat with a cuppa and our puppy in the porch watching the ducks- Very peaceful- if you are after something quiet, intimate, and with amazing views, this is the place- close drive 5 minutes to town for food. Will book it again !!!!!

Thank you Alex, our holiday exceeded all my expectations! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the beach and a short drive into Apollo Bay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, which was great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return!

Great stay here. Trust what you read under Bohdan’s management. He’s a great host. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything you need - very practical design. Well equiped and clean which was a highlight after staying in many grotty, sticky places with a lot of everything you don’t need. Bohdan asked for feedback as to what the cottage might need and I can’t think of anything - it’s all there 👍.

Rickie-Lee's place was clean and was fully stocked with amenities and things we could use to make our stay great. We made full use of the BBQ and fire pit. Beds were really comfy and the house was well insulated which would be great for the colder months.

Had a lovely stay over the anzac weekend. Beautiful view of the valleys and surrounding forest. Had some friendly visitors; cockatoos, kangaroos and a possum! Accommodation was very neat and tidy, and there was plenty of wood in the wood box which made our weekend very cosy by the fire. Only 5 minute drive to town so loved the location.

Cosy. Warm with a great fire place. Comfy bed with electric blankets on the cold nights. Great pet friendly accomodation with secure backyard and front balcony. Easy stroll down to the beach.

Loved my stay with my pup Gem in the beautiful Airbnb! It was quiet and private, the sauna was amazing, the fire ready to go and my pup had a great time playing with the other dog on the property! Will come back!

Fern Cottage was perfect for our little getaway. Was super safe for our 11month old and came with what we'd need for the little one. Kitchen was clean and well appointed. Living room was SUPER comfy and a late night by the fire with netflix and some wine was exactly what we needed. Property itself is really nice and we had a great sunny relaxed afternoon in the garden. Thanks for having us to stay!

a lovely cabin on a peaceful property - met all our needs, and we recommend this stay in Inverleigh. The town is very impressive - neat, clean and obviously looked after with pride.

We had a very nice stay at Jacqueline and Gavin’s stay, it was perfect for our pooch as well. 100% will be back!

Jade's place was all it lived up to for us. Gussie our doggo had a lovely time mooching around outside. The BBQ did the local chops and mixed grill with great flavour and quick heat to get it done and back inside in the warmth. We bought a salad at the local 'everything' shop and it was a simple and healthy dinner with the warmth of the fire. This was the best thing - the whole house kept the warmth in for our entire stay (there was a frost overnight of 1 degree and we were warm all night even without electric blankets - good news!).

This is our 3rd visit to Cousin's Cottage! Last year we took our international guests there and they loved it too. We love having a secure, quiet, cosy, easily accessible cottage to take our 14 year old bassett hound and our lunatic terrier! They think the cottage is actually theirs! The location is magic! Easy walks to anywhere. Though we think the Stump is a bit too close!!!! Sitting in the sun with dogs and a pint! Bliss! Thankyou to our lovely hosts for providing this gorgeous escape at a reasonable price in the stunning Port Fairy.

Wonderful place. Everything you need for a relaxing stay and very comfortable bed. Recommend taking the circular walk through the valley, we spotted 6 koalas and then fed king parrots on the balcony. Lovely!

While it was a last minute decision to spend the weekend away from the big smoke, we felt like we struck gold with finding this place. The location, the cabin, the farm animals, the peacefulness all played the driving factor to one of the most relaxing weekend we’ve had in a long time. We can’t thank Belinda enough for accommodating us at the last minute and providing us with such a beautiful place.

Sharon’s place was peaceful private and had beautiful lush green surroundings. The house is cozy clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable, clean linen and towels. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy with lots of firewood. The property feels remote even though it’s just 20 mins from Apollo bay. and having no Wi-Fi or phone reception made it feel like a really peaceful getaway. We had fun exploring the property playing board games by the fire swinging on the swing outside and making pizzas in the wood fired pizza oven.

Excellent location, two minute drive to Port Campbell and great base to explore the coast. Excellent for kids with space to run around and play. The adjacent 'cabin' is well separated but you are aware that they are there, so something to consider. 2/3 rooms are air conditioned but the position on the hill plus ceiling fans means it's highly manageable. Very professional host - house was spotless and very well appointed. Thanks Olivia!

Wonderful stay! Beautifully designed & well equipped property inside and out, and such generous amenities (home-made sourdough, jam, butter, eggs, cheese plate, wine!) Enjoyed the fire and outdoor bath. Special mention to Winnie the doggo, such a beautiful girl. Can't wait to return - 5 stars.
