Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

The only neighbors you'll see are the cows in the neighboring field. This location is perfect for hikers. It's close to the following trails - Glory Hole, Whitaker Point (Hawksbill Crag), Lost Valley, and Alum Cove. It's also a great location to see the Elk in the Boxley Valley or canoe/kayak the Buffalo River (water levels vary throughout the year).

Curtis Creek Farmhouse is a charming & comfortable home away from home. Surrounded by a small working cattle farm it also features practically a 360degree view of the mountains (esp in the winter). It has modern amenities but still holds on to vintage charm & appeal. The gravel road to the farm house features a beautiful rocky bluff overhang, while the driveway has a 100+ year old rock fence. Centrally located to many hiking trails, 30 min drive to Jasper, 40 min drive to the Buffalo River.
