Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Patrick County

This was our 3rd time at this location. We enjoyed it very much again.

The property and its location is something my wife, Tanya & I wanted to experience :) the beautiful Alpine Drive house, away from everyone and everything with full 180 degree view of the forest and mountains felt like we’re living in a postcard! The house is quite creative and well equipped with everything you can think of, including board games and two floor patio + views! It was just the 2 of us experiencing the luxury of the full house but highly recommend for families & their kids too! Just make sure you correctly follow the driving instructions and you’ll be fine. We hope to visit again in spring/summer and thank you again, Camille for having us.

This was our team’s third stay, and it continues to feel like a home away from home. The technicians really appreciate the comfortable, clean space and thoughtful touches that make working out of town much easier. Thanks again for everything!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here with our son. We just desired a place to rest and take a break from our busy lives. We were blessed with perfect weather and spent most of our days by the babbling creek having breakfast or coffee and a good book. Amy was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations and even set up a crib for our son to use before we arrived.

We wanted a quiet and peaceful Airbnb with a phenomenal view and we found it here at Autumn's Cozy Cottage! One of the best airbnbs we've ever stayed at! Absolutely charming, yet spacious, with a view better than we hoped for...looks JUST like the photos! Wifi and phone signal were a little challenging at times but it did work and we didn't care because the place was better than we hoped for. Will definitely go back! Thanks Autumn!

The farmhouse is the perfect getaway!! It’s extremely peaceful and quiet! The house is beautifully done up and extremely clean! It’s super close to Floyd, Danville, Galax and so much more! My fiance and look forward to spending more time at the farmhouse!!

The place was absolutely awesome and perfect. Very private and peaceful. Would definitely recommend others to stay there and we will definitely stay again. It is perfect for Va Tech events and pretty close to Blacksburg.

Our stay in Floyd was incredibly peaceful—tucked in the heart of nature, quiet, private, and serene. Kathryn was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. The kitchen was well stocked. We also attended a beautiful Mother’s Day gathering in the main house with music and a potluck, which was truly special. The hosts made the entire experience even more memorable. We loved every moment!

We had a wonderful stay while in for a wedding. The cottage is so cute and homey. It has everything you need for a great stay plus some thoughtful extras. I must also say the beds are so comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end our days. Highly recommend staying here.

Anthony's place was very clean and welcoming. felt secluded even though was close to everything. was well pleased with our stay. only drawback was we weren't able to control the temperature and the house was 76 degrees too hot for June. Anthony did turn it down some but was still too hot for us . plenty of wildlife if that's your thing, the deer come close enough to almost pet them . I will definitely stay here again it's perfect for just 2 people

Have stayed here multiple times and every experience has been fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. Marcia’s communication is great and the Coleman Suite is so unique and cozy. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Floyd area.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Susan and Tom’s Airbnb for over a year, and I can confidently say this has been the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From day one, they welcomed me with warmth and kindness, creating a true home away from home. Susan is an incredible host and a fantastic cook—her muffins, scones, and soups are absolutely delicious and something I’ll always remember fondly. She frequently invited me for dinners that were not only delicious but filled with wonderful conversations and laughter. Tom is equally wonderful—he’s someone I genuinely enjoyed spending time with. We had countless engaging chats, and his company was always thoughtful, interesting, and uplifting. He’s truly great to be around and made my stay all the more enjoyable. More than just hosts, Susan and Tom became like family. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate—this is a rare gem of a place with two of the most wonderful hosts you could ever meet.

Easy to find, easy to check in. It was SO peaceful as if you had the whole place to yourself. It was wheel chair accessible. Had a full kitchen with all the stuff we needed to cook full meals. It was super clean all around . The dock area is wonderful and was peaceful to sit by the water. It’s not often you have access to 12 acres on the lake. No complaints. We would for sure stay here again.

Beautiful location with simply appointed and super clean rooms. The common area is great for relaxing with family or friends and had very comfortable seating and enjoyable views. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but hope to return and do that next time.

Megan was very friendly and communication was clear. Her place was immaculate! It was easy to find and had all the amenities of home. I would definitely stay again when I’m back in Rocky Mount!

wonderful place to go, nice and quiet. Great Getaway for anyone looking to relax and unwind. Host was more than accommodating and was very quick to respond to any questions along the way and made it a super easy process. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

Stayed here with our 7 month old baby and my brother and his family, including his 1 year old baby. We enjoyed the proximity to fairy stone state park, the lovely view of the mountains from the porch and hot tub, the comfortable chairs in the living room, and the big tables in the dining room. The babies got a kick out of playing with ping pong balls and the dining room was a relatively baby safe room for the walking baby. Bessie was a fantastic communicator and exceedingly sweet, even bringing some baby/toddler deck chairs for us to use and leaving out a baby gate.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Doe. The cabin was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and we felt at home. The scenery was breathtaking and it was so peaceful and relaxing there. We enjoyed sitting in the back screened-in porch listening to sounds of nature around us. The amenities were wonderful, too. We highly recommend.

From the moment I pulled into the tranquil valley and saw the little schoolhouse sitting on the little hill, I knew I would enjoy my visit. It was a welcome treat and respite from the hectic life of being a school teacher at the end of the school year. I chose the schoolhouse to enjoy a quick escape for the weekend before our final school tests of the year. It was so lovely to walk into the little school room, explore every nook and cranny and read the little names etched into the walls, and find the perfect little kitchen, neat bathroom, and cozy bedroom. The weather was cool and rainy but the evenings sitting by the gas logs was wonderful. It was not far to travel to 58 or drive the scenic road to Mt. Airy to shop, eat at some delicious restaurants, or hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway. After living through Hurricane Helene, I was very pleased to see flashlights and bottled water available. The hosts thought of everything. It was a delight to stay in the little schoolhouse.

Raven’s Nest was the perfect stop for our family. The price was great and the location was beautiful. Overall, would love to stay again!

If you’re looking to get away from a busy lifestyle & need to unwind , the cabin is the perfect place. Not many places you can lay in bed & watch the sunrise. Truly a very special place & my husband & I feel very blessed to have spent a weekend there.

We stayed here while we waited for our house to close. This was an awesome choice. If you are looking for peace and a feeling of being right at home this is it! Tommy is an extremely gracious host, super responsive to any inquiries and has loads of information on the area and things to do- places to go. You will love his place. It’s a tucked away gem, and there are many good books if you just want to hang out. It’s a very nice place!
