Absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was incredibly well equipped—from the kitchen to the bathrooms, everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. Cooking was a breeze thanks to the fully stocked kitchen, and the bathrooms had all the essentials (and then some!). The beds and linens were very comfortable, and all of the furniture was cozy and inviting—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Most importantly, we felt completely safe and at ease staying here as a family, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Judy was a fantastic host—super responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. Her communication really made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. We would absolutely rent this place again and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved staying at such a beautiful peaceful house, gorgeous ocean views! The master bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The house had plenty of room for our family group consisting of my husband and I with our two young kids, two grandparents and my brother in law and his wife and two kids.

We really enjoyed our stay at Andrew’s air bnb. Simple instructions and great location lots of beaches and restaurants near by, im sure if we stay in Parksville again we will return.

Had a great time at Jane's place. It is in a great location close to the beach and walking trails. Also within walking distance of great restaurants. The house had everything you need for cooking, sleeping and relaxing.

This was a great location for our Vancouver island adventures. Pretty central to what we wanted to do. Cathedral Grove was close enough for us to visit multiple times, and the trip over to the Pacific coast was about what we wanted. Great hosts, were very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. House was great for our family, good amount of space, and lots of activities to do on rest days. Would stay here again if we ever come back to explore the area more.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and convenience of this property. So much so, that we considered buying a cottage in this community. Our stay was a luxury experience. Kate and Fohla were wonderful hosts and gave us personal attention as needed. We will be back!

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

Kim has a great place in Nanoose Bay!! Right on the water, great place to relax & enjoy the beautiful area! Great amenities to enjoy and place is well stocked & lots of space to enjoy!

Secluded, quiet neighbourhood with water access and great view. Loved the fire pit and kayaks! Be ready to climb up and down the steep steps, however.

Truly one of the best Airbnbs we've stay in. The house is better than we could have imagined and lake is even closer than what it looks like in the pictures. My five year old son says his favorite thing(s) about the house is: jumping into the lake, the hot tub, the water play, jumping in the lake, the big couch, the showers, and jumping into the lake... Hoping to come back again!

Great location, amazing views, and a plenty spacious home for 8 of us. We loved sitting out on the deck in front of the hut chatting next to the ocean view. We really appreciated the spacious, fully stocked kitchen for making all our meals. Saw seals and sea lions, bald eagles, rabbits, and lots of ravens. Spotless home in a great location, perfect for family time together. Thank you so much for the lovely spot.

Nicole’s “carriage house” is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful, peaceful and private. Very well equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom etc. Nicole has thought of everything you may need. We loved our 4 night stay and visit around the island, then to come back each day to relax at the carriage house. 10/10

A lovely home nestled in the woods above the trees. I spent a couple of nights with this as my home base. It was a great location to come home to after adventuring to places in the area and before heading on to the west coast. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! The quiet stillness was incredible with only the birds chirping. So peaceful!

I had a wonderful experience at this place! The room was very nice and clean, providing a comfortable stay for my family. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, which made our visit even more enjoyable. I have little kids, so I requested a later checkout, and the host was understanding and flexible with our needs. Overall, a fantastic stay! Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time staying at Ryans airbnb. We loved the sauna, hot tub, and the gorgeous views. We hope to return again in the future.

Such an amazing and beautiful place! Feels immediately like home. The location is a very quiet area with even some deer around. We had a great stay!

Everything was great, the only thing for me is I like a hard bed. Now don’t get me wrong my kids said they had the best sleep. Her bed was WAY too soft. Memory foam beds and foam pillows! It was nice but I didn’t have the best sleep because I’m used of a harder bed.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

We had a great stay at Shirley’s house. Was a little hard to find at nite when we arrived. Shirley came by and helped us with the propane fire pit on the deck. It was very enjoyable after being out and about all day. The location was great.

This was a aboslutley beautiful space! The view is breathtaking and the high windows, wood beams and balaconies make the whole thing quite dreamy. There is also a amazing bathtub on the lower floor that overlooks the ocean which was my happy place. They keep the space very clean and well stocked with the key things you may need to make your stay comfortable (shower ammenities, basic kitchen supplies, great towels). I went with my kid, parents, sister and her baby and were quite comfortable with the three bedrooms and large living room/ kitchen. The fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere in the evenings as you watch the sunset and birds flying overhead. It is also convenientily located 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The only challenging thing for us was that the home is situated immediately against the street and there is no sidewalk to walk with kids/ to the beach etc. There is also no real backyard for kids to run and play in.

This was now our 3rd year staying here. We will always go back if Fern is good with it. It is so relaxing sitting on the deck looking at the forest. We actually had a Mom and baby dear visit us this time. Beautiful well kept house and surroundings. I would highly recommend to anyone.

We stayed two nights and were awed with the amazing view. Very comfortable unit, quiet, clean and plenty of space. Coffee, a variety of teas and sugar supplied. Netflix but no cable tv -- not a big deal. There is a great footpath above the stoney beach that is an easy walk into town if you want to avoid the traffic on Marine Drive. Gibson's is delightful and we hope to return to Grantham House!
