Really enjoyed the space the house provided, given we are a family of five. Nice laid back house, which was just what we wanted. Beach was safe and only a short walk away. We'd happily return, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay! The house was full of great books and games and had a very well stocked kitchen. The hosts were great communicating with us and we really enjoyed our weekend away. Definitely would return!

Thank you Tania. Absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. We are country lovers so this couldn’t have been better for us. Loved looking at the horses out the window / door. Loved the sounds of the birds in the evening and the morning. I got a little confused finding the cottage at first as I went up the left driveway to the main house, not the right driveway. But was able to get hold of Tania promptly and she was able to redirect me. This is a beautiful rustic type cottage with the space really well thought out. I didn’t mind the kitchenette in the bathroom. Obviously as long as you keep everything sanitary as you use it it’s not an issue. Kind of the same situation if you were to stay in a caravan everything is close together amenities wise. Was nice and warm and super cosy. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for your kind, friendly and inviting hospitality.

Blackwood Luxury Hideaway was a perfect location for our group of 4 to stay for three nights whilst we attended a wedding in the area. Janine was super helpful in answering our pre-arrival questions and having the rooms set up to meet our sleeping requirements. The home was beautifully presented, and a lot of thought has gone into the decor / linen / kitchen utensils. The indoor spaces meant we had room to spread out and the day bed became a favorite spot for reading in the sun. The separate areas for outdoor seating where all well used to take in the stunning rural views. And the outdoor spa was a hit and had towels provided for it. The 1.5 bathrooms were very useful when your travel with 4 adults! They were lush with rain shower and beautiful amenities / towels. We would certainly stay again when we come back to visit the area. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Was great to have the space for a family get together. Was warm in bedrooms but needed the fire in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay. Natalie was a very good host. As soon as we arrived Cha Cha took us down to the river for a play. Samba the cat was very confident and fun too. The place is really nice and the tree house is super cosy and warm. In a safe and peaceful location. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is super clean, modern, tidy and has new appliances and so on. It felt quiet and private and has a big back yard and off street parking. Our host were communicative and responsive, and check in was super easy.

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

less than 5 mins drive from beach. Quiet and is a home away from home. lovely cafe around the corner. close to all kapiti coast beaches and short commute to Wellington. great kitchen with all the utensils and good BBQ. Beds were comfy. highly recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at Little 6. Rochelle is a fantastic host - she communicated well, provided clear instructions, and was super responsive. From the homemade granola to coffee pods and bottle of juice, we were made to feel welcome. Titahi Bay is an awesome location to stay when travelling to Wellington. We usually stay in the CBD but opted for Titahi and loved the local Porirua Art Centre.

My husband and I stayed at Felicity's home with our 4 young kids for 6 weeks while our house was being renovated. It was exactly as it was described, A Warm, Tranquil Family Home just perfect for us. We loved our stay. The kids loved exploring outside playing on the swing. There were plenty of toys, puzzles and games to keep the kids amused which was great because we literally only had to bring our clothes. The bed - in my 39 years was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and Felicity provided a list of things to do in the area and places to eat. There were plenty of seasonal vegetables growing in the garden that Felicity invited us to help ourselves to which I thought was very kind, communication was excellent throughout our stay. Could not recommend her highly enough. Michelle

Helens place is exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway with a few friends! Right by the beach, with enough room for a small group/big family! We can’t recommend this place more!

Isabelle was a great host. Showed us the local trails and shared with us about the area. The place was simple and clean and perfect for us for the days we spent there. Highly recommend staying if you like being close to nature and quiet surroundings.

We loved the location and the view from the deck is really very special. We so enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach. The bach has everything you need for a short stay, the bed & sofas are comfortable and the mini kitchen is well equiped for its size and there is an excellent BBQ. You can walk to Four Square for basics and/or a couple of cafes for coffee or lunch. We were appreciative of the milk, coffee, tea and biscuits.

We really appreciated Alistair and Shelia's hospitality. They were the best hosts we have experienced with Airbnb rentals. The living accommodations were very comfortable and provided the space we needed to rest, do laundry, visit Wellington, and prepare for the next stage of our trip to South Island. We appreciated the closeness to bus and train routes into Wellington and to the Interislander Ferry to Picton.

Our stay for the last weekend of the school holidays was PERFECT im glad we made the trip to Ōtaki for a family reunion we enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return again the fire made the place so cosy when you could sit around it with the beach in your view there was lots of space, games were a hit for the kids although we didnt spend most of our time soaking up the beautiful surroundings we had a great experiences, it didnt end there waking up and having the beautiful beach right there was an absolute bonus from sunset to sunrise was stunning!!!

Had a really lovely stay here. Very responsive and flexible regarding arrival, making sure we could check in when we wanted but also checking up shortly after to make sure we had an opportunity to ask questions and settle in. Was responsive throughout the stay when we needed it, proactively checking in and making sure everything was okay, but also giving us loads of privacy and not feeling overbearing or unable to come and go and do our own thing. Friendly and helpful at all times, very responsive and made the whole experience stress free.
