Vacation rentals with beach access in Paralia Kourna

From Sunrise to Sunset the North facing second floor apartment and balcony offered incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Rethymnon Marina and Fortezza … absolutely no issues or problems with check in, in/out access with secure gated and covered garage parking … comfortable bed, quite building, hot water shower/sinks, flawless high speed internet, excellent cable TV, soft linens, sheets and pillows 5⭐️!

Wow! Artemis is such a thoughtful host. The property is peaceful and beautiful. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy Crete and the Mediterranean. Our apartment was cleaned every weekday; that was a bonus!

Sifis' apartment was the perfect little oasis for our little Cretan getaway. It was squeaky clean, in a super convenient location close to old town Chania, and Sifis was very friendly and responsive when we needed a couple extra amenities during our stay. 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was 1:1 as described in the photos! Great view of the ocean and city in a very busy area. There were plenty of options for bars and restaurants.

This great little apartment was just what we were looking for. It‘s luxury mostly comes from the location, right between olive trees and the private pool.

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. Highly recommend!! We came to Kalyves for some rest and relaxation and our stay at Avra apartments exceeded this expectation. The apartment was very clean, stocked with all the essentials plus some, and the terrace was the perfect place to start every day - we even arrived to some welcome gifts. Stelios was incredibly accommodating and responsive, quickly providing us with additional amenities, such as beach towels. Chania and its surrounding areas were amazing, but this accommodation really made it feel like home away from home. The whole trip was perfect thanks to Stelios’ help! Avra apartments exceeded our expectations in every way! Hope to come back soon!

Absolutely fantastic place with a breathtaking location. The hosts were so friendly and made sure that we were happy throughout our stay, offering assistance when needed. We were sad to leave and would love to stay again.

Elektra is an exceptional host. When we arrived, Elektra was there and gave us a lot of tips (places to visit, restaurants, beaches, etc.). But the most touching thing was to see all his generosity. Fruits, sweets, cakes, etc. were available to us The accommodation has been completely renovated by her husband. It's a beautiful stone house with beautiful decoration inside. The accommodation keeps all its freshness. We really enjoyed the small patio where we had breakfast. We recommend this beautiful cottage, quiet and not overlooked.

This was the best AirBnb I've ever stayed at, and it really made our trip to Crete. Maria was an A+ host. She was extremely responsive and helpful and pointed us to all of the best beaches and restaurants. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean, and very spacious, and is only 10 minutes from downtown Chania. Thank you for everything, Maria!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location is quiet and has a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all a nice house for a relaxing holiday on the beach.

we had a wonderful time in this apartment for 17 days in May / June 2025. The area is beautiful, a short distance away you can hike beautifully and in the evening you can look out over the mountains while eating. The apartment is spacious and cozy. The only downside is that there is only one gas burner for cooking. On the other hand, the hostess offers to cook for you (for a small fee) if you want. You should definitely do this because she cooks wonderfully. In addition, she is very caring and does everything to make you happy. Highly recommended!

Amazing place in Chania. Beautiful port views and in the heart of the city. The host was the best I have ever had - so responsive and helpful giving us in depth recommendations about local restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Eleni was an amazing host she went way beyond expectations, her B&B could not have been better, we loved her place and would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Rethymno, and what a beautiful city Rethymno is, it’s definitely worth a visit and we will hopefully be going back one day. We loved our stay here! It is in a great location. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants and shops. It also has an incredible view of the harbor from the balcony. The host made sure the property was very clean, provided some welcome gifts, and responded promptly when we locked ourselves out on accident! Would gladly stay here again!

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The apartment was situated a short walking distance from the Venetian harbor and old town of Chania and was a perfect base for exploring the area. The apartment was also very clean. The host was very helpful and provided detailed instructions to find the location. I arrived on a late flight and the check-in process went very smoothly. Overall I can fully recommend the apartment for a stay in the beautiful city of Chania.

Close to the beach. Parking available. Apartment has everything you might need. Helpful host. Everything within walking distance, car is only needed for day trips. Nice toys for the kids. The only downside is that it is located next to a busy road with the necessary noise.
