Just 1.5 km from the center, Torre Gigliano was built in the 12th century at the foot of the Murge plateau, surrounded by an expanse of olive trees in the countryside of Ruvo di Puglia, a town rich in history. Used as a watchtower and astronomical observatory, the residence is enriched by a one-of-a-kind and extraordinarily beautiful stone spiral staircase. The fruits of a small organic vegetable garden and orchard are available to guests depending on the current season.

The private entrance opens onto an open space with a corner sofa where you can relax in front of the fireplace or the TV, a large dining room and a relaxation corner with sofa bed, bathroom and bright kitchen overlooking the private garden, plus a delightful master bedroom on the mezzanine floor. Built between the 1300 and 1400s, a stone loft overlooking the Adriatic Sea. This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter. Today our family is committed to reviving this building and its history, providing guests with a unique and comfortable stay in the heart of Puglia.
