Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Palacios

We loved our stay at the beach house! It was a perfect location right across from the beach. Some of our party went fishing, while the rest of us stayed at the house and enjoyed the views. They had tons of beach stuff and fun games in the garage, so that was a bonus!

Chance was a wonderful host. The balcony & outside space is perfect! There is a nice wind that was blowing the time that we were there making it nice not to have mosquitos. Just be prepared to have bug spray! The beds in the bedrooms are very comfortable and large! the bunk beds are useable.

This was our second time visiting. Great location, clean home, amenities were as described and more. Also, great local beaches for kids to swim and fish.

I enjoyed my stay! The decor was lovely and the home very clean. I've never slept on a purple mattress before, so this amenity was a nice surprise. The location of the home was close to my work assignment which made commuting easy.

We loved this little beach gem and had all we needed. Great location! Definitely recommend.

My family of 7, including 5 boys loved the house and the location. We took our rods and fished the whole time. We didn’t have much luck but it was probably operator error. We did end up fishing the surf (10 min drive) and had some luck there. The house had plenty of room for our family and was very clean. Also my favorite part was the checking out. We didn’t have to check out until 12 and the instructions were short and quick. We didn’t have to jump through hoops or wake up early to check out. We would definitely stay again. Recommendations: take your mosquito repellent LOL we were hungry. Also stop at the HEB in Bay City on the way in, it’s about 30 minutes from the house. For small items there’s a Dollar General 3 mins from the house.

Jessica’s place was the perfect place for our vacation! The place is beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool was the perfect touch & we enjoyed fishing off the pier. The outdoor day bed was so relaxing with a beautiful view. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Jessica was very responsive and accommodating! We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the home. This was our second time to stay, and we will for sure be back again. We love the location; it is close to everything. The hosts are very nice and answered all of our questions.

My guests and I fell in love this this property with it's beautiful, quiet property and spacious and comfortable home. Both the property and home offer many amenities and opportunities to stay busy, explore, and engage with other guests or enjoy time alone reading, thinking, writing, or (I don't recommend this, but did it anyway) working. Last but not least, the 5-star customer service of Naun, Juan, and Alex was timely, friendly, and met or exceeded our needs. After two weeks at this casa bendita, we have decided we will stop our several years of exploring Texas through vacation rentals and make it our family's vacation spot. Thank you, Alex, for sharing your home with us. We are truly grateful.

Patti made all of the difference in the world. It was like staying with family. Anything we needed, she was accommodating. Her cabins are very close to the marina, matagorda outfitters, Stanley’s and Cassidy’s. What else do you need. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in Matagorda. The house was very clean, charming, and quaint. Bed linens were comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. Great communication from the host. We will be back!

The pictures & description pale in comparison to the reality of this vacation oasis. We were immensely impressed by the hospitality of the hosts- little touches, snacks, everything a traveler might need. Clearly a lot of thought and love went into creating this unique and welcoming experience. We loved the wraparound porch and the abundant wildlife. Thank you Rene and Illeen for putting so much of your time and attention into creating such a wonderful place. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The cabin was perfect for our fishing trip. There was 5 of us and we felt right at home. There is a bait shop and boat ramp right next door. Kim and Clayton were fine with us tying off our boat to their dock. The cabin is surrounded by 6 campers and the residents are as friendly as can be. They told us they don’t mind if we stay up and fish all night. One of the residents is a former charter captain and is more than happy to pass on his knowledge of the area. This location is ideal for a fishing trip and I highly recommend it.

Don't hesitate. BOOK THIS HOME! AMAZING RELAXING FAMILY TIME!!! We had a group of 15 staying at this beautiful home for family vacation. Ages from 4 yrs to 59 yrs. There was someting for all of us to do on the days that we didn't go out. The separate guest house was a plus for my Husband and I. The younger children enjoyed that there was toys and games available. The house was very roomy. I want to say what was my favorite part of the house, but I can't. Everything was great. I love the kitchen and everything being available for cooking. I love being able to sit on the back patio area/porch and watch the family fish. I loved eating breakfast with the family at the dining table while at the same time enjoy the view of the water. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bath.👍🏾 🥰 We had to communicate a few times concerning some things and the host responses was quick. We definitely will be back. 10/10
