After driving from Santiago we arrived late afternoon at the property , where we were greeted by hosts Meret and her husband Bernado. They are renovating the 100 year old mud house themselves together with friends , and we were lucky to be among the first guests to stay at this accommodation in one of the finished rooms. Everything was modern and very well equipped ,without losing the original character . Sitting on the patio , sipping wine and watching the stars come out in the billons was amazing ! Fotos exactas del lugar. Padres de Carmen (que son quienes nos recibieron) fueron muy amables y atentos siempre, aunque siempre mantuvimos comunicación con Carmen. Lugar con cocina bien equipada, buena ducha, sin problemas con el agua (ni de presión, ni temperatura), camas muy cómodas. A 1 cuadra de la plaza y de donde salen buses para moverse a los distintos lugares que se quieran visitar.

Casa ubicada en un ambiente tranquilo y con una increible vista desde el cerro. Los anfitriones tiene mucha disposicion en responder cualquier consulta. La casa cuenta con lo necesario para la estadia. Hay una gatita que le gusta recorrer por la casa (si no eres cat lovers puede que no sea agradable) , es muy docil y cariñosa. Si andas con niños, la piscina sera el oasis para relajarse luego de visitar lugares. Espero volver pronto, ya que quedamos con gusto a poco.

excelente estadia, un lugar limpio y expacioso, la cama muy demaciado comoda, la ame!... las fotos no muestran lo hermoso que es en persona, nosotros nos quedamos en una pieza totalmente alejada de la casa principal tipo subterráneo con ventanas que dan luz solar, especialmente para descansar! paola muy amable y acogedora, recalco la limpieza de todo! recomiendo al 100%... gracias

A fabulous stay! The stay is as pictured and advertised, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. What really stands out is the kindness and generosity of Marcela and Alfredo. They truly go above and beyond as hosts. They gave us rides to/from the bus station in Vicuna to their property, and also invited us to join them at events in their community. It was a pleasure visiting with them in their lovely garden over a cup of coffee. They live in a small and friendly community that is accessible by bus. Even without a car, it was easy to catch the bus just a 5 minute walk from their home to ride to Pisco Elqui and enjoy the beauty of Elqui Valley. I highly recommend a stay at Marcela and Alfredo's peaceful oasis under the stars, and would gladly stay again.

Todo súper. Me recibió la mamá de Ares y todo tranquilo, destacó la independencia en el lugar y su estadía. Hacia mucho calor y había que tener cerrado por zancudos pero recomiendo ventilador y todo sigue excelente como hicimos, gracias por todo!!
