Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Paignton

We stayed at this property as a family of 7 with our dog. The home was as described with brilliant facilities. A short walk to the pier which the children loved the most. Excellent location for lovely walks with the dog. Overall a fabulous experience with extremely understanding hosts. Our son caused a little damage to one of the doors through opening it the wrong way, this was rectified immediately with the host being very understanding of the situation. Would definitely recommend to any one thinking of booking.

What a beautiful place to stay, immaculately clean with all amenities provided..... David has thought of everything you might need! We sat with the patio window open last evening watching the sun go down over Dartmoor, a glass of fizz to finish off the day.....cheers!

it was a lovely home for our 3 nights exactly what we wanted, super friendly owners, walking distance to everything you needed, was the perfect location for us visiting family.

We had a lovely stay here, we loved all the little extras which is so thoughtful. The location is amazing so close to everything. Would recommend this lovely house right by the beach and the town centre. We were there for the air show and had amazing views from the house. Stuart gave us excellent recommendations and was so helpful and kind, also responded so quickly as well.

We stayed in Candy's farmhouse annex for a long weekend with my parents-in-law, whilst down for a family event in Totnes. The location was perfect - such a short drive to Totnes, whilst being surrounded by wonderful countryside! We were given a great tour on arrival, of the annex and the huge garden, by Candy's husband Phil. The children felt immediately at home, and very much enjoyed exploring the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The annex itself was spacious and perfectly comfortable, with plenty of hot water for great showers and heating so that we never felt cold, even when the evenings were chilly. We had a wonderful time playing boardgames in the evenings, and Phil was kind enough to bring over some extra games and comic books for the children, which they greatly appreciated. We had a really lovely time and would definitely stay there again in future! Thank you, Candy and Phil, for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home!

Splendour House was just what we expected for an extended family holiday in Paignton. All facilities were available which was good as the weather was not what we’d hoped for. Tom is a great host and would recommend Splendour House to large families for its location and enclosed back garden. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom & Co.

Very nice place to stay in Totnes. Spacious apartment and large, comfortable bed.

We had a lovely weekend. The accommodation was immaculate and the bed was sooo comfy! Ideal having a toilet separate to the bathroom too. We used the accommodation as a base to visit family who live locally and would 100% stay again.

Myself, my husband and our little boy stayed last week and what can we say. We were blown away! Kate and Kieron are amazing! The apartment was beautiful, so well kept, clean and tidy. There was an information pack when we arrived with bits to do, housekeeping bits, even takeaway places! There was a welcome basket for us with fresh fruit, crisps, cookies and a lovely card. Kate had even went above and beyond and left a card, beer and chocolate for my husband for his birthday! The communication throughout the trip was amazing, we felt so welcome. We felt very safe staying there which was a big one for us having a little boy. Kate had made sure that she had put a basket of toys in the apartment for our little boy too. We could not have asked for a better host. The directions of how to get there and how to check in were brilliant! If you are looking for somewhere in Torquay I would highly recommend here, don’t go anywhere else!! We will definitely be back!!

We had a lovely stay, the flat was clean and comfortable with all the amenities that we could require during our short stay. Amy was a lovely host, communicating quickly via Airbnb and left a good selection of info about the flat and surrounding area. There was adequate parking for the car and we were able to park up for a couple of days and enjoy what Totness had to offer. The town centre was a walkable distance, though up hill on the return. We found good cafes and take-aways for eating and lovely shops for browsing in. We enjoyed trips to both the Castle and the Steam Railway. We hope to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful break. The apartment was bright, spotless, beautifully furnished. Everything you need essentials-wise is provided. The balcony view is outstanding. Cantina is a must for a lovely meal. A truly fab holiday - thank you

Beautiful property, modern and looks exactly as the pictures. Location was perfect for my stay, walkable into both Paignton and Torquay. Becky is really friendly and was super helpful and responsive to messages. Highly recommend

Would thoroughly recommend this property. It is well located and spacious. It is just a few minutes walk to the beach easy enough to walk into Paignton. If we come down to this area again would definitely look to see if it was available

The hosts were incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to talk to — they made me feel welcome right from the start. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and they were always available for any questions or local tips. The flat was spotless, well-equipped with everything I needed, and very comfortable. The location is excellent — within walking distance of everything — and having a safe parking space was a huge plus. They’re truly thoughtful and attentive hosts who clearly care about their guests. Lovely weekend stay at The Snug. Everything we needed was provided, felt like home from home. Great location, 10 mins gentle walk to the harbour. Parking not a problem. Bed super comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Quick communication from Mia when had a couple of questions, would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Nice little apartment in a perfect location. Short walk to a beautiful harbour with plenty of bars/restaurants. Apartment itself was clean and tidy, with nice seating area in the courtyard

We would highly recommend a staying here for either a short stay or long one. Close to the harbour and you don't need a car to get around the town. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and you have everything you need here. Rebecca is an awesome host and responded to any questions very quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We've stayed at their studio with 2 adults and a 5year old kid for 7 nights. We've had everything that we could ask for. Amazing place, amazing supportive hosts. Spotless clean place, fantasticly well looked after, beautiful interior. Nik and Rich are always there when needed, but they as well absolutely respect the guest's privacy. Even they live next door, you wouldn't see them if you didn't want or need to. As a German visitor I can highly recommend their place and their warm hearted hospitality. You feel home away from home!

PLEASE DO NOT SCROLL PAST. This place may not be the typical Airbnb because it doesn’t have a lounge or kitchen but it was perfect for us, our 3 kids and small dog. Firstly Sophie was incredibly responsive to any question I had before arriving but on arrival, wow. The fridge full of lovely biscuits, milk (which you can select the type prior to arrival) and bottled water. There was a fully stocked coffee machine and cereals for breakfast. The lovely linen and towels were an added bonus and the toiletries smelled divine. After a long drive to get there, Sophie was quick to suggest letting our dog walk in her perfectly manicured garden to stretch her legs. Honestly Sophie’s place was so comfortable, so clean and perfectly located we will definitely be back. Didn’t want to leave a good review because I want to be able to book again but I simply cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you so much for having us.

Another lovely stay at Palmdene. This place really is home from home and so comfortable. Love being able to stare out to see from both the kitchen and the living room. Everything we need is there. Great place for going onto Paignton beach (approx 10 mins) or go over the top and head to Goodrington beach, it will take a bit longer but the views are stunning. Booking again very soon.
