A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

..ended up spending 18 wonderful days with lots of reason to be there again. Babette and Cheryl are warm and hospitable. The air is breathable and believe me the house is a perfect escape to relax, unwind and enjoy the beauty of the ocean. It’s truly a slice of heaven!

This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthalts leider eine sehr herausfordernde Situation, da mein Partner einen Bandscheibenvorfall erlitt. Umso dankbarer sind wir für unseren großartigen Superhost, der uns in jeder Hinsicht unterstützt hat – sei es bei der schnellen Suche nach einem Arzt oder bei allen anderen Anliegen. Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit haben uns wirklich berührt. Das Apartment selbst war wunderschön – geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Es hat uns in dieser schwierigen Zeit ein Stück Ruhe und Geborgenheit gegeben. Such an amazing apartment to stay! I feel like the photo's don't do it juistice. It's spacious, modern and equiped with everything that you might need. The place is also very conveniently located on the main road of town, surrounded by amazing places to eat and drink. We walked most places as it was so convenient. I would most definately book this spot again, just for longer!

We had a wonderful time at La Mer flatlet. Beautiful views and good accommodation. It was cold and raining, but the inside fireplace was the place to be to watch the waves crashing over the rocks in front of the house. Will visit again. Good value for money.

My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Elfriede made our stay so special and we loved every single second of the time we spent there. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back again. Definitely become a new special place for us. Xx

Of all our stays in The Western Cape, this was in our Top 2 (in over 109 stays). 7 mins to central Stellenbosch , near the beaches and only 25 mins to Cape Town. Right in the heart of the Winelands. The villa was immaculate with very clear and accommodating hosts. For a family of 4, we all had our own bedrooms with en suites and one of the largest pools in a private residence. Washer, dryer (which is rare), air conditioning and lots of open communal space. We loved in so much that we made an offer to the owners to purchase 😎. Do not hesitate to book this gorgeous villa in a secure neighbourhood. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

It was our second time there with friends and was like going back home.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time.The house was spotless and exactly as described. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful view.,we had games and the house is so big ,clean and kitchen has everything.The host was super helpful and made check-in easy..The only small issue we had was the inverter kept on tripping but they fixed it for us we enjoyed our stay . Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away for group of friends or family, I will not mind coming back again .

The house at De Kelders is exquisite. The open view is 180 deg of sea view right above the rocks and the beautiful sea. Saw many seals. The house is beautifully appointed with stunning finishes. The house offers all the necessary amenities It’s peaceful and open plan. Both Hermanus and Stanford is close for restaurants and there are many accessible beaches. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday
