The balcony is a sweet place to sit and enjoy a moment with a great view of the neighbourhood. Full access. The building itself has no amenities inside. No laundry services available on site. The apartment is located beside Lansdowne Park, facing the Canal and Bank Street Bridge. It sits between Old Ottawa South and The Glebe, surrounded by idyllic homes, quiet streets, parks, and ponds. Restaurants, shops, and bars are just steps away. Bus stop is directly in front of building and is a10 min ride to the Byward Market. Best way to get around is ice skating 100 meters away or bicycle anywhere for summer, you are in the best part of town and within easy striking distance to whatever neighborhood your travels take you to. The city has convenient bike rental kiosks set up in key locations. I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. There are 2 on site visitor parking spaces that are available on a first come first serve basis. If neither spot is available grab a street spot (it’s free but has a 2 hour time limit during the day from 7am-11pm, and no time limits overnight) and keep an eye on visitor spots as they come available many times a day. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the daily rate which I believe is about $20. -There are black out shades in bedroom area but it gets bright in the morning if the sun is out so if you are the kind of person that requires complete darkness to sleep stay away. -I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the 20$ daily rate. -The heating and cooling is Geothermal. The AC works perfectly 95% of the time. If its unusually hot out the unit may have a little trouble keeping up to the demand. For example if its set to 22 degrees, the unit may only be able to provide a temperature of 24 degrees during the daytime due to the load requirements. In the evening when things cool off the unit will catch up to the set temperature. But, keep in mind, this type of problem is rare.

Over-looking our private courtyard are two open-concept rental spaces. Bright and cozy with a charming mix of modern and antique decor, they can be rented individually or together to accommodate a larger group. The front of the building houses Parlour, our AVEDA Concept Hair Salon. This listing is for Suite #4, a cozy ground floor open-concept apartment. Warm and welcoming, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The compact yet fully loaded kitchen includes a dishwasher and has all the basic dishes & utensils for creating meals. The pull-out couch in the living room opens up to make a queen sized bed. Laundry machines are tucked away in one of the closets in the bedroom space. A wall of windows separates the living area and bedroom space, equipped with a curtain for privacy. Customizable rolling blinds in the living area can be adjusted for your comfort and privacy. You will have full private access to Suite # 4 with a 24hr keybox entry. The suite overlooks our private courtyard which is occasionally shared with other guests. I do not live on the property but can easily be found at the front of the building, working in the salon from Wednesday to Saturday. Local fruit and vegetable vendors set up all summer long, and during the winter season, skate down the Rideau Canal, the world's largest skating rink. There is a bus stop right around the corner, servicing local bus lines. Two of the major Public Transportation hubs, Rideau Street and Mackenzie King are less than a 10 minute walk away. The scenic cycling path is accessible from Major's Hill Park, a 5 minute walk away. Parking lots are available at all four corners of our location. The entrance to the courtyard & suites is located on the side of the building. During the salon's business hours, guests are welcome to access the courtyard by walking through the salon.
