Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Enjoy life in our quiet place, which is still very centrally located. The apartment is on the ground floor on a courtyard on the outskirts of the village with attached horse husbandry. Only 8 minutes (car) to Montabaur, 30 minutes Limburg or Koblenz. You can also immediately start nature from here, whether hiking, biking or motorcycling. As riders and motorcyclists, we are happy to give you tips. Bicycles and motors can be stored in a weatherproof manner. 4 guests maximum

Pure nature! You live in an old train station directly on hiking and biking trails. Absolute tranquility (almost) without neighbors. Slow-moving freight trains pass by on the rails 3 times a day. On weekends they are still - then you can watch deer or even a fox there. The apartment is located in the former engine shed of the train station and is stylishly/individually and comfortably furnished. It is now available for the first time after complete renovation of the building.

Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.
