Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Otsego County

Very large/comfortable living area and kitchen. Private. Close to other towns (traverse city, grayling), lake otsego, stores/restaurants. Kitchen and bathrooms equipped with home essentials. Yard lacking curb appeal may be a deterrent but location is everything and it has fire pit, table/chairs, and grill. Had a very peaceful weekend. Pleased with my stay and hoping to book again in the future.

my family has had an extended stay at lisas home throughout an unexpected event in our lives. Lisa has been extremely communicative, helpful, and gracious. we have never felt more welcome especially in a time of need. we so appreciate Lisa and her wonderful home. Beautiful surroundings to distress are an added bonus.

Lots of beds and space for those that fill them. Great spot close to downtown and the surrounding area!

We enjoyed our stay at Chad and Nikki’s place. Felt like home, spacious and plenty to do. We will definitely stay with them again. We had a slight issue with the internet, Hosts responded quickly and the issues was resolved in minutes. Amazing decor!

Great trip and a fun area. Will definitely be staying here in the future. The location was perfect and we even got to see a couple elk right down the road.

It’s a very nice cabin tucked back on around 20 acres. The colors weren’t quite ready but we did see some elk and black bear east of Gaylord. Keith did a great job communicating and even checked on us to make sure everything was going well and we got in alright. Definitely would stay here again and probably will since we got engaged out back.

John and Dorene were amazing hosts I cannot recommend them enough!!! Super clean cabin, more beautiful in person than in photos, had everything we possibly needed. They had local recommendations and responded fast. 10/10 experience I definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. So many things to do for everyone (2adults,2kids&the dog). We fished, relaxed in the hot tub, made s’mores in the fire pit. We played at the lodge on the cold rainy Friday, it was incredible (don’t forget to bring towels). The cabin was nicely located on top of a hill. You could see the water from the front yard and the few neighbors we saw were very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer made things so easy for us to clean up. Doreen and John were very quick to get back to us with any questions. The little air conditioner and individual heaters were perfect for this time of the year. The lakes were beautiful and filled with fish. The boys had a blast. We can’t wait to come back when it’s a bit warmer. We will definitely use their place’s again, looking at one on the water for our next trip. 10/10

This was the perfect place for my family of six adults and one dog. We loved having the four kayaks and it was easy to get into the water from the dock. We enjoyed fishing from the dock too. Our dog loved the beach access to the water. We went in the hot tub and soaked up the beautiful view. The kitchen table seats six and was exactly what we needed when we played games. We played a few games of ping pong and foosball in the garage. The outdoor shared pool, pickleball court, playground, and basketball court are only a 5 minute walk away. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners kept the whole place cool. We loved this home on the lake.

Had a great family ski weekend! The location right next to the slopes was great, as we had a few small children and could easily come and go. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and felt spacious yet cozy. We hope to be back!

Fran’s listing was very clean, and fit all of our needs. Lots of extra blankets, had really nice warmers in the bedrooms downstairs… very clean. I asked a lot of questions, and Fran was so quick to respond every time. Incredibly hospitable. She is the best host I’ve worked with yet. Thank you so much for hosting our family/group for a wonderful ski weekend… we will be back !

Rustic charm Beautiful scenery…. Can’t say enough about that.. Host were so quick to respond to any questions we had! (Very important) Great fishing spots! Neighbor lake has much bigger fish!! Beds super clean and fresh smelling and comfortable! TVs have lots of channels Pool table was added fun! Everything you needed for a family of 10 to enjoy some tranquility and family fun! Just beautiful! All around:) Go to Landing Zone for bowling! Veteran owned! And we went to Mancino’s (it looked vacant but new owners) great pizza and yummy grinders (homemade bread) that offers gluten free pizza and also has garlic knots!! Only 2 regrets, we didn’t book 2 wks & we really did not prepare for Michigan weather. Haha Bring sweatshirts and pants cuz mornings cold and afternoons warm and evenings cold. Can’t wait to go back!

This Home has everything you could ask for. Very Clean, they thought of everything from the shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms to laundry soap, Keurig cups, cold water in the fridge and a smores welcome gift on the counter! Beds were cozy and clean, bathrooms spotless. The view is breathtaking especially sunrises, and the loons are amazing to listen too. The next door neighbor's are wonderful and friendly and the firepit was a great place to spend our evenings. 5 stars all around! highly recommend taking a trip here ♡

Everything about our stay was good except for a small hiccup getting into the cabin. Location is relatively close to Gaylord and Boyne Falls. I would definitely stay here again.

5 of us stayed here for a bachelor party weekend trip and it was great. Very peaceful cabin on the river with plenty of space. Makes you feel like you’re the only ones around in the woods. Very peaceful getaway. Host was very communicative and we had a great time.

Five. Stars is not enough. This place was absolutely phenomenal. Will definitely be back again.

Doug was a great host! Great communication. Everything was as described and very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us even though it was tucked away on beautiful Martin Lake. We had a graduation party nearby so was perfect. Gaylord was only 15 or so away with anything you need. The chalet was as described, it’s not a big place, but cozy. We had 4 adults, 2 kids (11 & 8) and our small dog Ruby. It worked so well for us! We especially enjoyed fishing and enjoying a fire in the evening. Highly recommend if this fits your needs and we will definitely stay here again if in the Gaylord area.
