ParadisHuset

We had some lovely Easter days at the Paradise House, which formed a great base for our vacation days. The kitchen-dining room was large and spacious, and at the same time there was room in the house for a little alone time if desired. The house is old and atmospheric. The garden is really big and was ideal for our two dogs, who enjoyed being able to run around freely. We made use of both terraces, which each had their own charm. All in all, a lovely holiday home that we can only recommend.
The exterior side of the house is shown, featuring a neatly stacked pile of firewood under an overhang. Large windows provide natural light, while the dark exterior cladding contrasts with the lighter wood. A paved area surrounds the home, adding to its charm.

Studio 15

Super nice place, we just used it for an overnight stay in connection with an event we were going to. We arrived on Friday evening and easily found the key and entered, and Maria quickly came and helped with an extra duvet that was missing, we drove again on Saturday morning and locked up 👌🏼
A wooden pier extends towards a sandy area lined with greenery. Two red storage huts are visible flanking a picnic table, inviting outdoor activities. Smooth stones border the water's edge, with a calm sea reflecting the surrounding nature under a cloudy sky.

Nice rustic log house close to beach and town.

We enjoyed our stay very much. ❤️ Else Marie und Søren are such lovely owners of this house that we felt home from the beginning. 🥰 Else Marie was always available for questions and gave us great tips for activities. Else prepared a little gift for us as we arrived in the house - we were happy about this. Thanks for all, I hope I see you next year again. Warm regards Nadin, Ronny and our son Niclas. 🫶

Residence 25

A thoroughly restful, quiet and enjoyable stay in a beautiful modernist studio. It was a perfect place for writing and is great for a retreat time. Rodby itself is very quiet, lots of nature and walking is available, birds and fields. Supermarket is not far, and for a nice meal out Nykøbing Falster is a lovely 25 minute drive and pretty down. Also lovely vintage stores there and in Maribo. We valued the clean, well kept space, and comfortable bed, fully equipped small kitchen and a very cool little 60s bathroom. This is a unique place in terms of modernist architecture, and Lisa is a very helpful host with enquiries. If you like good architecture and something different compared to staying in ancient buildings, this is very nice and a great stay away from the hectic city.
A wooden hot tub sits in a serene garden setting, with smoke gently rising from its chimney. Soft light from lanterns illuminates the surrounding greenery, creating a calming ambiance. The twilight sky above features soft clouds, hinting at an approaching sunset.

Our stay at Cathrine's place was simply sublime! The cottage is very cosy and has everything you need. We especially enjoyed the pizza oven and the wilderness bath. The place is super private and the peace and quiet is lovely. Tranquility at its finest :D Catherine is super responsive and kind. Highly recommended!

Idyllic rural by forest & manor

AliRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a wonderful stay at Adeline’s. She was very responsive, friendly and genuinely hospitable, which made me feel very welcome. The house is a charming thatched cottage from the early 1700s – full of character, soul and history. It was spotless, well-maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful, surrounded by fields and nature – a perfect place to relax and unwind. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and cozy getaway. Alone or with family.
A wooden dock extends into the calm water, surrounded by large, smooth rocks. The sky is partly cloudy, and the gentle waves lap at the shore. The tranquil scene invites relaxation near the water.

Lovely house in rural surroundings with its own garden.

HanakoRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Very spacious house, we immediately felt at home. Ideal for two families, we were seven, two children and five adults. The kids loved the trampoline, table tennis and the comics in their bedroom. A very thoughtful touch. The bedrooms upstairs were all very nicely presented with very comfortable beds. The downstairs rooms are slightly outdated but we felt very comfortable and didn’t mind. We loved the views on to the fields from the kitchen and terrace. The area is very beautiful, we went for daily swims at Stubberup Havn and will really miss this special place. There is a nice cycling path along fields and woodland to Nysted. In Nysted we can highly recommend the bakery (amazing bread and pastries), the Pakhus for dinner and the Organ Museum. We would like to return one day.
