A sweetly furnished apartment right on the sea. To get to the nearest swimming spot, you walk about 5-7 minutes through the nice village. Ioanna is very helpful with questions and problems. It was a very nice time in her apartment! Glad to come back!

Dimitris was an excellent host and his property is beautiful, steps away from the beach. Loved that we could see and hear the waves lapping on the shore while home and on the balcony facing the water. Has everything you could need to feel at home. Kalyves was the perfect location for us to be able to explore the Crete area ( beautiful beaches, Chania, Rethymno etc.) Highly recommend Dimitris and his beautiful property!

This place has a few reviews on AirBnB, so we were cautious about our expectations. Luckily, the place was indeed amazing. The furniture is in good condition, and the bathroom and kitchen are clean. There was enough space to store our clothes and personal items. It has a spacious yard with beautiful olive trees and enough space to park your car, eat outside, or sunbathe on recliners. There were no problems with insects whatsoever. The only two things we lacked in this house were a dishwasher and a wood/coal grill. The location is excellent if you have a car. This house is between Kalyves and Kalami, so grocery shopping is more convenient if you have wheels. The beach is perfect and within a walkable distance. It was actually the best beach of all the other seaside places we visited during this trip. Μihalis was friendly and welcoming, helping us with all our requests. A few welcoming gifts were a pleasant surprise. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Mihalis's place.

What a perfect spot to spend holiday! It was very hard to leave this incredible place. This airbnb has provided us with the best holiday memories. We could not have asked for a better holiday home. Nectarios is such a kind and helpful host all the way through, very hospitable! Aptera was the perfect spot for us to spend a vacation on Crete. Easy to reach every place on Crete with a car, and the local tavernas just a short walk from the house provided us with a perfect local feeling. We hope to be back one day!
