As a solo female traveller, Glen and Andy's spot was absolutely ideal for my stay in Wellington. It's peaceful, quiet, and perfectly located in a lovely neighbourhood with access to the most stunning hiking routes just 100m up the road and the vibrant city within easy walking distance (7min) down the hill. The place was squeaky clean with a beautiful, calm interior. I loved the fact that I could make some tea in the morning and enjoy it in my pyjamas on the terrace before heading down to the amazing selection of excellent coffee spots all within a 7-10 min walking distance. They were both extremely friendly, helpful and together with their dog, Lumi, made sure that my first trip to New Zealand will definitely not be my last :) I can fully recommend Glen and Andy's place and will definitely be back.

Thanks. This is a great wee place. I’ve stayed before and will book again for my occasional work trips. It’s a great location, it’s got a lovely feel with nice touches and a view, and everything I need.

Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. It was nice to have covered (and secured) parking but it is tight. Definitely a challenge to park a big vehicle but they offered an alternative if the vehicle didn’t fit which was really nice.

Tiny Inner City Cottage

We had an amazing time at Jeannine's cottage. It feels homely and cosy. We loved the quirkiness of the bedroom space (comfortable and warm even with strong winds ourside) and of the bathroom a few steps across the courtyard. The cottage had plenty of space for us and is within walking distance of both city centre and Mt. Victoria and we used easily uber when we had to be somewhere quickly. Gary was shy at first but was clearly more comfortable around us after a day or two and we loved the cuddles but he is clearly very self sufficient! All worked perfectly and we genuinely loved our stay and would stay again. Jeannine is a kind, friendly and responsive host. A pleasure to communicate with and gave us plenty of suggestions about how to move around the city based on what we needed to do while in Wellington.

What a lovely middle of the city hideaway! Your own place minutes from city centre, with lovely terrace garden, own driveway. Lots of little touches around the place and all mod cons too. Can't recommend enough. The restaurant tip Ortega- literally 2 minute walk- was just fabulous , some of best fish and wine list in best atmosphere we have ever been and we eat out a lot..also, due to mix up (my fault!) with travel cot, Jenna got one for us within an hour. Perfect!
