Cottage vacation rentals in Orange County

The house was beautiful and my family loved it. The swingset outside and the toys inside kept my kids occupied and happy the whole time. The house is very kid friendly which was great for us. The house is right by the lake and we were able to go fishing and even use the kayak. We had a very peaceful stay and would definitely come again.

We booked the house for five nights for a group of six adults and had a lovely visit. Gabriela was a fantastic host communicating super promptly to our questions. It rained 90% of the time so we used the interior of the house to the fullest, and not the exterior (no fire pit, bikes, or hot tub) so cannot comment on those features. All appliances worked well. Kitchen is helpfully labeled and well stocked with kitchenware. The beds were very comfortable, towels fluffy, and downstairs family/game room is a great space for all ages. Furniture was comfortable, dining table was welcoming and though the house shows a bit of wear and tear here and there, everything was clean, tidy, and decorated appealingly. Tip: Bellvale Market just 7” away had great quality food products; Warwick, a quaint larger town, is just 10-15” away providing all other conveniences.

What a wonderful experience! I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday and this was a fantastic place to do it! We had a terrific time. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Location was great . Visited 2 Farmer’s market and enjoyed the beauty in general. We will return! Thank you for being a gracious host!❤️

Surprised my girlfriend with a weekend get away for her birthday and she was thrilled. Evelina and John are great host and their place is warm and welcoming. We loved the lake, and the quiet serenity of the location is perfect for a weekend trip from the city. Also loved the kitchen which made cooking in a breeze because how thoughtfully organized it was. Although our stay was short we did find time to take the canoes out explore the lake and take a refreshing dip. Our only complaint was that our stay wasn’t longer, and we’re both looking forward to coming back !

I loved my stay at the little green house! It was perfectly clean, had everything I needed and decorated really nicely.

This a true, traditional and charming farm house! Brynn was very accommodating with our stay, not only did she allow both of our dogs to tag along on our weekend getaway, she also offered an early check-in and late check-out without even having to asking for one. That never happens! While this location is rather remote (which we wanted), the winery across the street is quite enjoyable, and the farmhouse is only a quick, 20 minute drive to Beacon. We also found a new favorite restaurant in HV called 'One With Land' - So worth the trip. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Our recent stay at this Airbnb was an absolute delight from start to finish, and truly exceeded our expectations! As a family looking for a convenient and relaxing base for our Legoland adventure, this spot was ideal. The proximity to Legoland was fantastic, making our daily trips incredibly easy and stress-free. Waking up to such serene and picturesque scenery each morning was a highlight, offering a peaceful escape after exciting days at the park. It was the perfect blend of theme park fun and tranquil countryside charm. Also, were so incredibly happy and grateful to have been able to bring our dog along! It's always a challenge to find accommodations that welcome our furry family member, and this Airbnb not only allowed it but felt genuinely welcoming for him, it made our family trip truly complete. The host was wonderful, the amenities were excellent, and the overall experience was simply five-star. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Legoland area!

A great place for a weekend with friends. The views are immaculate, ideal if you love to watch a sunrise. The outdoor area is beautiful and accommodating all types of activities. Nice restaurants and stores nearby. Would definitely save this place for future trips.

William's cottage is a lovely place to relax and commune with Nature! I really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the birds and frogs singing. The cottage is homey and comfortable. I felt very at ease there. I really appreciated the shade from all the tall trees surrounding the cottage, as the temperatures were a bit high during my stay. The trees kept the deck and cottage cool. There are also many great restaurants and cafes within 10 minutes of the cottage. William and his co-hosts were super helpful, responsive and kind. An overall wonderful experience!

We had an awesome experience staying here! Host is flexible and easy to work with. The living room kitchen setup made really good use of a smaller space and we never felt crammed even though we maxed out the capacity. Excellent b&b for a bunch of young couples that were out adventuring most of the time.

Tori's cute house is exactly as listed. Enjoyed the beautiful lake and the sunsets. House was clean and comfortable.

This is our 3rd stay at Jessica’s place. We always enjoy our stay. The cottage is lovely. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Jessica is a very responsive host. We hope to stay here again next time.

I stayed for a month solo to focus on my projects & it was the most peaceful month. The house is contained in nature with a plethora of birds & animal life that I witnessed.. a crane fishing at the creek beside the house as I worked, a pair of woodpeckers hunting at the lawn, a chipmunk that lives under the house & has a morning ritual of its own. All while the lake boasted breathtaking sunsets. On the practical side, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything one needs to cook everyday, which I did. It was private & safe for a solo girl like me to stay a month. Amazon found its way to it no problem. And there are nice streets to take long walks which I did 1 hour a day. Very friendly neighbors, everyone waves at ya. The covered patio, working from the dinner table, waking up in the bedroom to the lake.. all main areas are flanked by beauty. Really was perfect for a solo getaway. Also wifi was very reliable. Keep in mind lake living = insects. They’re harmless. Highly rec renting!

Barbara is a fantastic and welcoming host, and the cottage is really wonderful. The perfect spot for a winter weekend, I can't recommend Barbara's place highly enough!
