We had a great stay here. Hosts were friendly and responsive even after we had a change of plans. Great location just outside of town.

WE were in the area for work. Great place to stay with everything we needed to accommodate us for the week. Great communication from Nancy which made everything from check in to check out a breeze. Would stay again!!

Beautiful home in a beautiful, quiet location right on Lake Superior and totally surrounded by nature. Jason’s thorough communications were much appreciated. We’d love to visit again!

amazing and cozy place! the cabin was very clean and being on the lake was so nice! Don was very responsive and is a great person! we felt right at home and so nice being able to have our dog with us. this place was a home away from home.

We enjoyed our visit. Our daughter lives nearby so the house was convenient Our 1st time in the area we enjoyed it Funny I'm Finnish also my grandparents came from Finland and Sweden.I grew up in Erie Pa on the lake So that was really cool Have a few good meals Thanks again Mary & Phill Ford ❤️

Wonderful location on Lake Superior, close to the state park, and a 12 mile drive into town if you need to go. Beach offers beautiful unobstructed views of the sunset. Well stocked with firewood and kindling for the fire pits and the sauna. Location allows for quiet time and rest. Kitchen allows you to cook your own large meals and enjoy in a dining table that can seat eight easily. Front room is perfect for conversation or games for a large group. Bathrooms had showers with good water pressure. Sauna was well maintained, with the fire starting up easily, and heating up in due time. This is the perfect place for a family vacation. We had grandparents, parents, and kids at this beautiful hermitage. Ten out of 10 - would recommend!

A true cabin in the woods feel. Very quiet and private. We visited to go to the porcupine mountains and other nearby natural areas, of which there are many. We visited for memorial day and tried mountain biking on the trails, but the ones we found coming off of the nearby parking lot around powderhorn mountain were not well maintained and seemed to be better suited to winter skiing and fat biking, however we didn't try Wolverine trails which might be better. There are neighbors not too far away but when you're at the cabin you wouldn't know it. Definitely a rustic stay with the composting toilet and no shower, cell signal is spotty, but that can be a good thing for disconnecting. The cabin is well equipped and everything is very usable and well maintained. Chuck, the host, is very responsive.

We did a spring break ski trip to Snowriver. We loved the easy ski in and ski out to the main hill. The beds were extremely comfortable and the condo was just as listed. We felt at home here.

Cabin was great! Friendly and helpful neighbors and very peaceful neighborhood. The price was much better than other places we have stayed and the cabin was much nicer and cleaner. We will be coming back again!

Perfect basecamp for our annual Big Powderhorn ski weekend.

We were all in agreement, WOW! Value, cleanliness, convenience items on hand, great bed-bedding-towels, washer/dryer with detergent, more than we expected by a mile. This place was more than perfect for snowmobile trips and we'd expect the same for ATV-UTV'ing. Super responsive at all times and you can see the pride and ownership of this wonderful property.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Ontonagon. The home was very clean with all the amenities we needed. Although it was just the two of us, the home is big enough to accommodate a large family. It was a short drive to the Porkies for a scenic drive & some hiking. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely stay in this home again!

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay while visiting the area to explore hiking trails and waterfalls. The campfire is stocked with wood and kindling and is private. The hot tub is a great way to wind down the day and look up at the stars. Despite the heat, the AC kept the cabin cool. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

Great spot and close to everything. The fenced in yard was great for our active pup and the hot tub was terrific! Beds were comfy!

Great place. Close to porcupine mountains, short drive. Nice neighborhood, people were pleasant. House was big enough for 6 of us. We did not use the basement. Can’t say much about the basement. Overall great place and served us well. Enjoyed the stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Rob’s condo at Snowriver! The place was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The ski-in/ski-out access made our trip super convenient, and Rob was a great host, communicating clearly and promptly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free ski getaway!

Wedel Haus was a great little triplex unit that is super close to Snow River's Jackson Summit. There are other cabins around, but it is a very quiet neighborhood. The cozy indoor gas fireplace and outdoor hot tub on the deck were perfect for our ski weekend. The hot tub and deck area are shared so there is a fair amount of communal outdoor space. Having friends rent the other units is a nice option. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to find.

Great stay while we were in town for a family reunion! Our dogs were comfortable, the beds were comfortable. The sauna and hot tub were relaxing to use! Everything was clean too! Enjoyed our time :)
