Beachfront vacation rentals in Onondaga County

We loved our stay at this charming cottage right on the lake. The multigenerational rustic feel brought back fond memories of my youth on the lake. It was exactly what we were looking for. Kayaks and canoes were used by everyone. The weather was incredibly hot which encouraged all to jump in the lake. It is close to the village which allowed for quick trips to shop and enjoy its beauty and history. Barb was incredibly pleasant and the perfect host. Can’t wait to go back!

This home exceeded our expectations! We had a beautiful view of the lake from the wrap around deck and a great little beach area to enjoy the waterfront. I would highly recommend staying here, Terry was an excellent host and responded to our questions right away. We will definitely be coming back to visit soon.

Cozy cottage on a calm pristine lake. The unit was very clean. Richard left us firewood. We chatted with a few other guests and homeowners in the area and everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend!

The bungalow was perfect for being able to relax by the lake and jump in for a quick morning swim or paddle! Because it is so close to the lake, we constantly were in awe of the natural beauty. Even while making lunch in the kitchen, I was able to see the kids and watch all of the amazing sunrise / sunsets. A full 180 degrees of view!

Chloe's house at Skaneateles Lake is beautiful, it was clean and neat inside, the yard was big, the lake front was perfect. The house is spacious with beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. It is in a quiet neighborhood and felt very private. Karen, the manager, was quick to respond to my texts and extremely helpful.

Lisa’s cottage by the river is an amazing getaway for anyone who’s looking for peaceful surroundings! This wasn’t our first stay, and we always look forward to fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching. Thanks Lisa again for a great MDW stay!

This was our second stay at this lakeside cottage…and we hope to return in the future. It’s a great location…right on the lake in a quiet neighborhood. The living space is comfortable, with lots of natural light.

Colleen was very accomodating: I couldn't specify our arrival time, and I don't have a cell phone so couldn't let her know my progress. She worked things out with me ahead of time, and was friendly and welcoming when I arrived. I was traveling with 3 daughters, visiting friends for a wedding. The little shed was pretty eccentric: composting toilet, right at the edge of the water, etc, and I though it was perfect! I went for a swim in the evening and again in the beautiful early morning light. Thank you Colleen.

We had a great stay! The location is beautiful and the house was just as described. It was great having enough room to all stay in one place to celebrate my daughter graduating from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. And, our dog was also allowed to come!

The finger lakes was our destination for a full getaway weekend. We were thrilled to find this property on Lake Skaneateles, our favorite of the finger lakes! We loved the Barndominium from the first moment we entered it! Amazing views! The one big room is comfy, spacious, well equipped, and nicely decorated. We loved having lake access and kayaks to use right on the water!! The pool table was fun to have evenings and on the 1 rainy day. Beds and furniture were comfy, and the bathroom shower was especially spacious. Would we come back? Absolutely!! Thanks for a beautiful stay!!

My family and I absolutely adored our time here! Beautiful location, squeaky clean, and exactly as described. It was the perfect weekend getaway for the whole family. We especially enjoyed the lake access and kayaks!

Emily was one of the best hosts I have had. Very quick to respond and flexible. The area received 1.5-2' of lake effect snow by 9am that morning, Emily made sure that the driveway was plowed out for us by the time we got there and made sure that we were ok to get in. This is a great little lake cabin for a weekend fishing trip or a trip away from home. FYI, the sand bar and grill 1.5 miles down the road has great food at great prices.

One of my top two favorite rental spaces to date! Dan has created a space that met any need we had. Every last detail and inch of the space has been so well thought out. A bottle of wine was generously waiting for us upon our arrival. Dan is very thorough in his instructions and communication. He reached out during our stay to make sure we were doing well and didn’t have any issues. The setting is so peaceful whether you are up around the cottage or down by the lake. Our weather wasn’t great, so unfortunately time on the lake itself didn’t happen. We hope to visit again and be able to make use of the kayaks. Fantastic find if you’re looking to get away! The view is absolutely breathtaking. This is our second year returning to this location and we had such a great time from kayaking, paddle boarding, volleyball, utilizing the outdoor kitchen, having a fire, swimming to docking our boat. Daniel is an amazing host that is very responsive. We are looking forward to returning next year!

We had a great stay on the lake. The property is perfect for a family, group or couple. The water access is amazing. The outdoor grill and flat top stove allowed us to have dinners outside with phenomenal views. The communication with the owners was awesome. We brought our kids and had a great time.

This is our second year returning to this townhouse. The location is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. We truly enjoy the volleyball, paddle boards, kayaks, ability to dock our boat and an area for our kiddos to just run free. Daniel is extremely responsive and an amazing host. We are super excited to return again next year!
