Khalid was fantastic as a host, I arrived with my 4 month old baby and he arranged a pick up from the airport for me and really took care of my arrival and anything I needed during my month long stay. The flat was fantastic, clean, big, huge bed. There are many shops in the area for absolutely everything that you need. I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend this place. Thank you Khalid for looking after me during my stay :)

Top Choice for everyone who is looking for a solid homebase to make some daytrips. The Apartment offers everything you need - we are out most of the day, so we have no special needs. The only thing that did Not work for us was the usage of the Pool (we were told its for hotel guests only). All in all we had a very good time and would definitely recommend the place. Thanks Basel for having us!

Great stay. The location is good, some restaurants and coffee shops around, also a supermarket. The apartment was clean, pictures are accurate. Yousif was friendly and gave great instructions on what to do. Check in and check out process were easy. There was not enough sunlight for our taste, but during the summer it would be perfect, not too hot.

The apartment as described and photos are exactly the same as what I have seen in the app. In addition, he provided us with a complimentary pick-up from the airport. I like the web page he provided me which contains full instructions and details about the apartment, a useful app you need to use in Oman and some tourist attraction places. That was really underfull. Thank you so much.

The house and the outside are very beautiful and allow a comfortable stay. Allow about fifteen minutes from Nizwa center but close to shopping malls I'll be back!

I have been on Airbnb for over 7 years, and this was easily one of the top Airbnb experiences I have had to date. I agree with one of the other reviews that this place is more of an “experience” than simply a place to stay. Clearly lovingly built in the traditional Omani style but with modern touches that make it an extremely comfortable and functional place to stay - the photos simply don’t do the charm of the place justice. I didn’t meet Sulfa in person but the Omani hospitality was on full display between the dates and local coffee left for me on arrival, some breakfast bits in the fridge and regular advice shared through text. Situated in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, with mountains surrounding, it’s the perfect spot for an escape from the typical hotel / resort circuit. A little bit out of the way for those who don’t have a car (like myself) but I managed easily enough either by taxi or walking to the nearest bus stop, which is 10 mins away. Super spot and fully recommended.

Abdul's place was very spacious and clean. we were a big group and there were many rooms and beds to accomadate all of us. He was also very kind to let us check-in early as our bus arrived early morning. he even allowed us to leave our luggage in the lounge until our flight. overall a very pleasant experience and the house is perfect for big groups.

Welcoming and beautifully decorated traditional house with calm and private outdoor space. Confortable beds and sitting areas indoors and outdoors. Clean toilets and bathrooms (a couple more towels would have been nice) Kitchen needs some improvement as it was not fully fitted nor kitted as described - lack of cooking facilities (no gas connection to gas hobs), although bbq facilities were provided which would be perfect for longer stays. Location is very good in the town centre, close to shops and restaurants.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant décor. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown (SUR).

The accommodation is in a stunning location with a beautiful view. We stayed for just one night, but I can easily imagine spending two weeks here, combining remote work with exploring the surroundings. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we could order dinner from the host – it was delicious. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and every room had a great view.

Close to the Airport, very Clean room, private bath, Supermarket round the Corner, parking right in Front of the door, highly recommend

Khalid is such a nice person and a great host! The check-in was smooth, and I even managed an early check-in without any issues. He loves the beaches—if you’re a beach person, just talk with Khalid and he’ll suggest the best spots. If you enjoy walking and exploring, Khalid is your guy. He’s visited many great places and is always willing to recommend them or even take guests himself, just as he mentions in the listing. He offers free snorkeling, which was a fun bonus. Khalid truly loves the sea and has a very relaxed, friendly vibe. He never interfered in anything during my stay and was always helpful when needed. He’s also eco-friendly, which I really appreciate. Overall, Khalid is 10/10 and I highly recommend staying at his place if you’re in Muscat. If you’re a walker, you’ll love this location—nearby is Lulu Supermarket and Mutrah Corniche is also within walking distance. A perfect spot for a chill, beachy getaway!

I stayed at Naz Airbnb for a couple of month, he was welcoming, always ready to assist and helpful, he made my experience arriving in muscat great, as for the surrounding area, there are many things to do, from parks to malls, everyday I found something new, if you come from a big country than nothing is far from you, people are nice and welcoming and you won't feel that you have to be aware of your surroundings the whole time like in other countries, I totally recommend it and thank Naz for making it an easy stay for me.
