Asiriy Guest House, Double Room

AmyRating, 5 stars74 months ago
Marleny’s place was clean, comfortable, and convenient to then main area of Ollantaytambo and the train station (we walked to the station in the about 15 minutes). We had initial trouble with the address, but we were able to call and get everything sorted; we were on the right road, just too far down. Marleney greeted us upon arrival and was very welcoming. My boyfriend was not feeling well and she offered to call a doctor for a house visit or bring us dinner since he wasn’t feeling well enough to go out. There was a space heater and plenty of blankets for when it is cold.

Homestay with famous Textile Wara women

HeidiRating, 5 stars36 months ago
This was one of the highlights of our month in Peru! It's just a beautiful spot. Chinchero is cold and there is no heat, but Ruth's beds are nice and warm. Very clean. They even got hot water for our showers (they normally shower in cold water). We loved learning about how she makes colors for weaving, and she took us out to the country to cut grass for the guinea pigs - very fun and interesting. On Sunday we went to the market with her sister and niece and got to watch them trade potatoes with women who brought fruit from the jungle. It was beautiful. The Inca ruins in Chinchero are beautiful, and I wish we'd made time to hike all the way to the waterfall. Was sad to leave here!

Peru Quechua's Lodge Ollantaytambo

JenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Edith was a wonderful host! She went above and beyond and agreed to watch our things while we were gone for a night in Aqua Calientes and even loaned my husband a pair of sandals for the hot springs. She walked with us in to town and her story is so interesting, I felt like I could've just watched it in a movie. The room was spotless and we fell asleep to the sound of a roaring river. The breakfast was simple, yet delicious. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa de Oren recently, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! Nigel, Mabel, and Oren were not only incredibly welcoming but also went above and beyond to ensure our stay were perfect. The accommodation itself was exquisite, deserving not just 5 stars, but an impressive 6 stars for its comfort and style. The logistics were flawlessly managed, making everything seamless and stress-free. The landscape surrounding the property was breathtaking, adding an extra layer of beauty to the experience. And the service? Absolutely impeccable — prompt, attentive, and personalized.
