Beach house vacation rentals in Old Saybrook

The Ashford Lake cottage was absolutely perfect for our sister birthday weekend! The hot tub, fire pit, screened in porch, and dock all were perfect for catching up, relaxing, and enjoying each other's company. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and everything was extremely clean. Jason was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I can't recommend this cottage enough and hope to visit again in the future!

We had a great stay! Incredible one-of-a-kind view over the marsh. We saw so many different beautiful sea birds and an incredible sunset. Very short walk from the beach. Great place to stay with young kids. Well stocked kitchen with supplies and basic seasonings. Would return! Very cozy great family getaway! There are extensive requirements for clean up upon check out.

This was our second time renting Brian's place for a getaway and this stay was as excellent as the last. We love this house so much and Brian could not be a better host. His communication is stupendous; he was always immediately available to respond to any questions we had.

Great space, accurate description

My family and I had such a wonderful stay at this house. The house was immaculate and well stocked for our stay. Matthew and Celia are great hosts. We really appreciated the basket of snacks and dog cookies that were left for us and our fur babies (Thank you!). They truly thought of everything and it felt like “home” the entire time we were there. The views from the back deck are truly spectacular. We spent many hours sitting in the sunroom and out on the deck enjoying the sights. My pups enjoyed daily walks at the sea wall park that was steps from the house. I can’t say enough great things about our stay. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their beautiful home with me and my family.

The house was very clean, with a beautiful, large, well stocked kitchen. The view was lovely and it was wonderful hanging out on the deck. The beds were very comfortable. The house would be a little more practical if one of the bedrooms had two beds, so more people could sleep in the actual bedrooms. The pull out beds were not as comfortable and the bed in the loft is only accessible with a ladder. However, for a small group or people who aren’t picky about their sleeping arrangements it is a fantastic place to stay. You can’t beat the view and proximity to the water!

We had a great stay at Stephen's house in Greenport. The house was absolutely beautiful, there was plenty of space, and it had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. You can tell the house is cherished, lived in, and cared for by the owners. The location is perfect and the town of Greenport is full of amazing restaurants, beautiful sights (who knew it was full of gorgeous cherry blossoms?), and there are many things to do in the area.

It was a great place & extremely peaceful. The air is the tiny bit salty. We slept will the windows cracked. I heard a bird call at night, that got me right to sleep.

We loved staying at this home - it was the perfect place for our group of ten. The outdoor space was definitely the highlight, with the pool & spa being our favorite part of the trip. The only thing to note is that we weren’t supplied quite enough toilet paper or paper towels, though I did not reach out for more - It was the last evening when we ran out and we were leaving early the next morning. The trash requirements were a surprise after booking, but going to the transfer station was easy enough, and it is listed on the house rules. Overall, an excellent stay and would absolutely return!

Michael’s place was amazing, means a few friends stayed this weekend for my birthday. He was always willing to help and very accommodating! The house itself is so beautiful and had everything we needed! It was our first time in The Hamptons and he gave us tons of recommendations!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Mystic at this great home. The pool was the biggest hit, but the kitchen/living room area was an amazing place for our group to gather for meals and games. Location is spectacular as you can just park at the house and walk to all the great restaurants the area has to offer and if you have kids, there’s a great playground just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again!

Went with family for a weekend trip. Tracy and Patrick’s home is lovely, very beautiful and well maintained. And everyone enjoyed including my kid who found a lot of toys to play.

We had the most beautiful weekend stay at Tim’s home! Everything is accurately described and the pool and hot tub were amazing!! All the beds were very comfortable. Was perfect for a 5 girl weekend getaway!! Tim was incredibly communicative and checking in was a breeze. The location is PERFECT in East Hampton!! So many amazing restaurants and bars nearby. 100% will stay here again for my next Hamptons trip. Thank you so much Tim!!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Christine was extremely helpful and responsive. She was so clear with instructions and everything was exactly as described. The house was very clean and exactly as described. The yard was also very big. Perfect for a weekend getaway as it was close to everything. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay near Hampton Bays. Would absolutely return.

Benjamins place was a wonderful stay for our family. Coming from the City it was amazing to have so much grass with peace and quiet. It is a short walk to the Main Street and Sag Harbor downtown. We had planned to go out and enjoy some activities during the couple of days we stayed but instead found the place so relaxing we spent most of it in the home. The separate house was nice for a master bedroom and quiet. We would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to have a relaxing and quiet vacation in the Hamptons near Sag Harbor. Hope to be back again!

We had a lovely stay at Eric's home. The home exceeded our expectations and we felt right at home. The decor was warm and inviting. Everything you could possibly need was in the stunning, modern kitchen. The beds were all comfortable and we slept very well. The property was very peaceful. We enjoyed seeing deer, turkeys and hawks each day. The fixtures in the home were modern, clean and high-end. It was great being so close to Greenport with it's wonderful restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return.

We had a lovely stay at Karine’s cute house! The kitchen was very nicely outfitted, beds were super comfortable, and the big wood-burning fireplace was excellent! We appreciated all the cool artwork around the house, and Karine’s wonderful photography book! We got to enjoy lots of bird life, and we were lucky to have a bit of snow. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and lovely big deck and yard!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. So clean. Well equipped - hosts thought of everything. Wildlife in the backyard was a fun plus. Highly recommend.

We had an absolute PERFECT stay here! First off- the house. This home is so charming in every way. We loved the way it’s decorated and laid out, and it’s so cozy, clean and beautiful. You are truly able to relax here. Also, the bed is extremely comfortable, the water pressure is great, and the A/C works very well. However, perhaps the best part of this house is the view! There are sliding doors in the living room and bedroom, and the view of the lake is breathtaking. The area is super safe and quiet, and you are in walking distance to downtown Niantic and the Boardwalk which you cannot beat! Also only about 20 minutes from Mystic. I cannot forget to mention how amazing our host, Katie, was! Super attentive and responsive with messaging, and she was even here doing yard work when we arrived so she greeted us which was such a nice touch. Overall, we will DEFINITELY be looking to stay here again! Loved every minute of it.

This house had so many amenities and was exactly as described! We enjoyed having access to grills, a hot tub, game room, and all of the household/beach necessities! The house and game decor were super cute and the adults loved the competitive scrabble game on the wall. There was a small ant problem in the kitchen (which the owner was aware of) that was there despite attempts to keep the dishes and garbage can clean, but that was our only minor complaint. Overall, loved the place and would consider staying here again!

Great little house. Very well stocked and very clean. High quality all around! Little beach area is very rocky so not for lounging but a great launch point for small boats. Water in the area is very calm. Neighborhood is very quiet and cute with lots of amenities.

Unique mid-century mod house design with glass walls viewing the deck & garden, comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, short safe walk to the beach & nearby playground. Responsive hosts. Pristine bathrooms & plush linens. Sauna! Parents of young children may want to block access to the spiral stairs & loft. Older kids will want to hang out in the cool loft! Also perfect for yoga… Great food & brews at nearby Haywire Burger Bar! We plan to return. Thank you Melissa & Patricia

It was a very relaxing home surrounded by beautiful waterfront wildlife( a pair of swans and other birds ) and views. It was well worth the stay and I would like to stay there again and I would recommend it to family and friends in the future.

Megan home is tastefully done. Relaxing colors, perfect layout. Large windows to see the water from every room. The most comfortable bed I have ever sleep in. Will be asking where I can get one. You can relax on the deck overlooking the sound or explore the town of Greenport 3 miles down the street. A farm to table restaurant is a beach walk away. We look forward to coming back.
