The host she was so sweet and kind and caring. I was traveling alone and she gave me clear instruction on how to get around via bus and train. She picked me up from the bus station bc I didn’t have a car. She helped me Call a taxi. She was worried about me bc I was by myself. Her house was beautiful and in such a peaceful area. Seeing the horses was a cool experience. There is also an ostrich farm and a rice terrace within minute walking distance. Highly recommends. Thank you so much! :)

[Kawachin House] Come and play with the feeling of visiting your relatives' house!

JamesRating, 5 stars66 months ago
A lovely place about 20 minutes drive from Saiki. Highlights were: incredible sashimi (saiki is known for its fish); local onsens (one of them over looking the sea with salt water); hiking in the surroundings and on the nearby island. I would recommend coming with a car as the bus service is fairly infrequent. However the family very kindly took time to drive us around to the places we wanted to visit. Highly recommend!

Toki no manimani! Outdoor Hot spring.

Yi WenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
From the moment we step into the unit, bathroom slippers were nicely place in a row for us to put on when we enter. The unit is big, cozy and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the onsen, my daughter spend alot of time in it. The entire unit is spotless, there is really nothing that I can pick on. Bed and even pillows are very comfy. Aircon is nice and cool.. there were 3 rooms, but we only used 2.. the spare room my daughter used the big empty space as her playroom. If there is anything that I have to comment, it will be that I hope that there is also another hand soap so there is 1 at level 2 and another at level 1. We enjoyed our stay very much, and will highly recommend the stay.

Had a wonderful stay.A farm that Sadachika raised over the hand salt, a treehouse and swing handmade for my grandchildren, a beautiful view of Beppu Bay, and a starry sky like a planetarium. It was a paradise place for my two little ones, and I couldn't get into the house and play outside forever.I think it's the best environment for families with children. It was a weekend, so the kiwi hunting and camping guests were always coming and running it alone, so I seemed to be very busy, but they took care of the details. The homemade honey was also very delicious. We'd love to visit again when it gets warm again. Thanks again!

Yukimi san and Kazuhiro san are very friendly and kind, knowing that we are with infants, very active assistance, knowing that the children want to play fireworks, and specially prepare relevant buckets and fire, the children are very happy, although the location is not the city, but you can feel the full of human touch and the feeling of home
