Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Ohio

This was a great stay! For people interested in getting away and enjoying a little peace and relaxation, stopping in on the off-season of Put-in-Bay is perfect! Although there is a lot of road walking, for those enthusiasts interested in getting your steps in, it’s a very walkable island! My sister and I did 25,000+ steps a day! It was fabulous! Don’t fret though, because if you prefer, there are golf carts available to rent as soon as you step off the Ferry. Marisa’s place is wonderful! The private room (s) are comfortable and provide quietness. The shared spaces are easily accessible and clean. Marisa is attentive and responsive to requests! I could watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset at night from the comfort of Marisa’s place!

From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The room, house, outdoor areas, neighborhood and amenities are as advertised on airbnb. Douglas and Russell are true super hosts. They exceeded our expectations. We wish them the very best! Do not hesitate if considering booking their place, it is worth it. And we are picky. 😅

the host was absolutely Sweet and kind. she left us snacks and beverages as well as a nice tour of her lovely home. she seems very hard-working which is even cooler for her to take some time out of her work to help us with anything that we needed help with. the neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. I would highly recommend, especially near the Cincinnati Liberty City area

It was a nice house and neighborhood. Donna communicated with me, so I knew what was going on.

We love Laura's place! It's a unique home beautifully appointed. Laura is friendly and treats her guests very well. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything you would need for an overnight stay. This was our second visit and we will return.

Thank you to Ron and Sarah for allowing me to book a last minute stay at their beautiful home! It was a great experience. They were very communicative and quick to respond. I felt right at home and Ron even made me breakfast in the morning and chatted for a while. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Highly recommend. Very cute house in the peaceful area. Restaurants, park and zoo were at a walkable distance. The hosts were out of town during our visit but they had proactively communicated with us and had everything ready for us. House was clean and the host instructions for check in and stay were clear and well organized.

Private and Peaceful. Location is easy to reach everything by golf cart or bike. Hosts were amazing and their recommendations were great! Don’t hesitate to book with these wonderful people!

Beautiful place to enjoy a sunset and watch deer in the yard. Debbie’s check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The room was quiet and comfortable. Bed was nice and everything was clean. Breakfast was delicious! Would stay again!

This is the 3rd or 4th time I stayed at Ron's place. It's close to a park where I do a race. I can get a good night's rest since his place is very quiet.

Staying with Sanda was like staying with family. She was engaging and shared openly. She prepared wonderful breakfast each day and welcomed us into her home. In a few short days, we became well acquainted with her property and her family through her tales. We rushed off each day to visit family 40 minutes away, so there was little time to explore the grounds and the river; we’ll just have to come back one day. This was a wonderful four-night stay to witness the eclipse of April 8, 2024. We strongly recommend Shanda’s sweet place to any couple.

My husband and I were looking for a place that allowed dogs close to family in Ashland and we found the perfect spot in Sandy and Marks beautiful home. My only regret was not being able to stay for the homemade breakfast Sandy had made. We needed to leave early that morning for some business that needed attending to. Our 2-night stay in the Historic Primrose House in Nelsonville, in the Garden Suite, was perfect for our 2 days hiking in Hocking Hills State Park. We stayed in June, on Tuesday & Wednesday, & since the other (2?) rooms weren't occupied, we had the entire house to ourselves. Our room was spacious, w/ generous closets, electric fireplace, private on-suite bathroom w/ tub/shower. The shared full kitchen, full size fridge, pantry of cooking pans, utensils & seasonings were great for meal preparation. Mandy cooked us a good hot breakfast of eggs, pancakes, toast & juice, included w/ our room reservation. The Hyde House across the street is also run by the same company. A well stocked choice of coffees and teas were available 24/7. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking, the dining room w/ a library, large porch, private parking in a small lot behind the house & safe neighborhood. We appreciated this well done historic home & hospitality of hosts Alex, Jennifer & Mandy. We'd stay here again.

Mike and Jan are amazing. The place is identical to the pictures— cozy and clean. The surrounding of the house is absolutely beautiful— the paths, woods, and pastures (to raise happy llamas). The view on the way to the property was also amazing, especially with the fall foliage. Jan made amazing breakfast with a big menu to choose from. There is also an option of having dinner at the b&b, which we did and totally would recommend. We enjoyed the hospitality and all the conversations we had with Mike and Jan. They are fun and easy to talk to. We also got to feed and walk their three calm and elegant llamas. This place has offered an experience way beyond our expectations.

This place was very clean and we appreciated the continental breakfast and flexibility of a possible late check in. Very convenient location too. Things to keep in mind if you are booking is to bring ear plugs for traffic and fridge noise. Also if sensitive, there is a strong air freshener/fragrance in the room.

Super friendly. They took us in last min ,and even worked with the check in to allow us to get ready and attend show on time!

Valerie was incredibly welcoming, warm and helpful. Her place is charming and secluded from road noise - highly recommend!

words really cannot accurately describe how incredible this stay was, lisa was sweet, provided anything i could’ve possibly needed, tons to do in the house, my doberman and i had a phenomenal time. i don’t normally travel alone and i felt so safe in this space and around her. 1000/10 recommend and i will most definitely be back :)) <3

Wow! We had a great stay at the Pine Treehouse at Theresa's. Sheila, the assistant manager, although she was very busy when we arrived, was friendly, nice and professional. The treehouse was clean, peaceful, quiet, private and solidly constructed with massive wood beams: a wood/log cabin on stilts. It was obvious that a lot of consideration was taken in the construction of the treehouses. We really liked the super water pressure and double shower. We absolutely loved the place and would stay again without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time staying in the King suite! The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The neighborhood was very relaxing and peaceful. The farm animals were an added bonus!

We loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere! This was our 3rd stay at Hillside and it won’t be our last!

This is our second visit we enjoyed this stay as much as the first! We loved this history aspect and being able to stay in a pullman car but with modern facilities. We ate at local restaurants and everyone in the community was so kind and welcoming. We were there for our 26th anniversary and a nice surprise awaited in our room. The host went above and beyond.

My parents stayed at Jessica's for their anniversary and loved it! My mom is a big animal person, my dad likes pinball, and they both like nature. This place fit them perfectly! They also really enjoyed the breakfast in an intimate setting and said it was yummy! They couldn't be more satisfied!
