Vacation rentals in Ogre

Loved the surroundings and the peace. Decoration of the place was cozy. Warm and friendly host, lovely pets, felt right at home. Morning sunrise was amazing and in the kitchen there was very tasty herbal tea. Found good dinner from Ogre. Coming with car, there were fuel stations just near the location. Would be happy to stay again!

A place for a family vacation

Very nice small house in the woods. Quiet location at the edge of the residential area.

The staff was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Place was cosy and private right by the river. The house was really warm. There was only one big minus, it was the jacuzzi/hot tub - had to wait long for it to get warm, but thats no big deal, but once it got to 40-45 °C, the host turned it off and forbid us to put the heating on by ourselves. So the water stayed good and warm for about 30 minutes after which it started to get cold. So 50€ for a 30 min hot tub is rather sad, plus there is now way to enjoy the hot tub next morning before leaving.

As a multiple return visitor to Sarmite. I had opted to explore camping under the stars. My arrival was at 02:00 and the weather had been rainy. She messaged me and upgraded my stay to her new self contained Airbnb flat/apartement. I self checked in and in the morning I was invited to breakfast. The flat was fully equipped with double bed, table and chairs, full kitchen and shower. The property also boast free WiFi and sauna. I was shown the camping area and why she had concerns about me camping that night. I met a Japanese visitor who was there and she also love the location. Minky the cat was there and a new dog Holly was present. I have never once regretted staying at Sarmite's AirBnB. You're near Tinuzi, Ogre, and Riga by car, bicycle, bike, and public transport.

Akmeni Resort was amazing! It was very clean and cozy. Kitchen had all equipment for cooking and a big bonus was coffee machine, as we are big coffee lovers. Beds were big and very comfortable with extra pillows. Outside there was a BBQ and with extra cost we could use jacuzzi or sauna. Grownups had also comfy robes that were perfect after a jacuzzi. The place was perfect with kids, as all they did was having fun in pool or in jacuzzi, or if they had a break from swimming, they could play in the playground or just watch local squirrels play and eat in their cage. Even though there are three other rentals on the spot, it was quite peaceful and we could enjoy sound of crickets in the evening. We really loved this place!

The apartment is very nice, it is clean and comfortable. The bed is excellent - I slept like a log :) The building interior is dated, but it is not an issue. Ogre is a lovely town and the district which the apartment is in is green and well kept. Ilze is responsive and friendly, although we only communicated via messages - the place has self check-in.
