Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Obed River

We stayed at JP’s place while we were in town for my sister’s wedding. JP was super helpful and responded quickly when we needed anything. His place helped make our trip so much easier! It was very clean, and was plenty of room for the 7 of us that stayed. The house was close to a lot of food options and stores. He provided very clear instructions for check-in/check out, how to work the TV, maps of the area and also had books and games for us to use.

We absolutely loved being at Dalton Farm! We stayed for a month and could’ve stayed longer. Highlights were sitting on the back patio and taking in the nature views (and the cows!) in the distance. Inside, the garage-converted-to-pool table room was awesome. In the nearby Fairfield Glade area, we did a lot of hiking. Last, there are restaurants and groceries a few miles down the road in Crossville. Jason and Abbey were great hosts and very hospitable .. mostly left us to ourselves and when a minor issue popped up, they resolved it immediately. Looking forward to coming back!

Easy access off the highway, paved driveway with a carport . Restful retreat is a good name for this location. Very quiet. Plenty of room for a family with things for young children to do. You are 10 miles outside of town and the internet service will buffer every now and then. Blinds in the living room would help cut the glare in the afternoon while watching tv. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again in the future.

It was very charming and comfortable and clean! I had hoped to meet and talk with Shawn, but we were very limited on time so it did work out this time. We were very pleased with our experiences.

I was in town for a wedding and this Airbnb was in the perfect location. The place was super clean and had all the essentials and really great water pressure. It was close to the expressway too which was convenient. I would love to stay again if back in the area!

Stayed here once before and its always a pleasure dealing with the hosts. The house is very nice and is close to windrock. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great communication & excellent stay!

This cabin was just beautiful!!! We stayed out here the weekend that some of our friends got married at The Opal Oak Summit which had breathtaking Mountain Views just 25 minutes away in Morgan County, TN. The cabin up on the bluff above deep water dock made for a gorgeous place to kayak. We enjoyed paddling Watts Bar! And the decking was luxurious and private out from back of house, around the pool, and viewing area above the lake. And the screened in porch off the Master Bedroom / Sunroom dining area were our favorites! But there was even a downstairs for games, pool table, etc! And up by the fireplace was a comfy cozy place to hang and chat. We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend here! I highly recommend this Air Bnb! What a lovely home for Rest and Relaxation!

Perfect little get away with the pups! The property is spacious, interior was comfortable & laying in the hammock was great!

Beautiful, well stocked room with lots of nice personal touches and an amazing bathroom with heated floors. The pool was very nice, but it’s not completely private if the downstairs room is being rented out. That part wasn’t made clear when we booked, but the couple we shared the pool with were very nice and it all worked out. Jane was a very nice and friendly host.

Great place! It’s in a wonderful campground. I’ve been to many over the years and the staff here is above and beyond wonderful! Place was nice & clean. Perfect for a little getaway. The sites and views of the lake are beautiful! While here, make sure you hit the cantina!

Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. It was extremely pet friendly and really appreciated all the special touches. Will definitely book again when were in the area.

Awesome stay. The staff were courteous and easy to reach. The cabin was cozy and perfect for my nights stay breaking up a long drive.

What a wonderful home ! The property is absolutely gorgeous. Our whole family swam multiple times a day. We really appreciated all the extra amenities including extra towels , pool toys , & pack & play for the baby . The boys really loved kayaking & fishing. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare our meals. It was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. Elizabeth was very responsive when we contacted her a couple of times. My husband and I usually don’t return to the same Airbnb twice since we love exploring new places, but this one changed that. There’s something truly special about this stay that made us come back. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed to unwind. We’re so glad we chose this place to enjoy our time off, and we’ll definitely be back again!

We had a great time at this AirBnB as a base for climbing at the Obed. The host was communicative and helpful. The house was comfortable, clean, and as described.

Truly a magical place! Relaxing and peaceful right on the water. My husband and two dogs had the best getaway with the best view of the lake around (right from the living room and bedroom!). Highly recommend. Private and only 20 min from anything you would ever need.

This log cabin feeling home was well appointed and a relaxing place to stay. It's well back off the road which was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room for my truck and boat. A couple of towns are within 15 mins or so but we also ate at the local diner 1/2mile down the road and enjoyed that was well.

This was our second stay. We went with some family we had an amazing time and made life time memories. This place scenery is something one would wish to wake up and view every day. It’s so peaceful and quiet. It’s like you live on a farm and have the place to your self. The pond won’t let you down as it has a lot of bass that are healthy and we caught some large mouth’s that weighed 5 lb plus. You can read my other review, but if want a different kind of vacation something outside the box this is the place. Sara is an amazing host. She super accommodating will help you in any way she can to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

This is our 2nd time at Kathie's and it's consistently great! She's thought of everything. We especially enjoyed the French Roast keurig coffee every morning. We slept well, enjoyed super clean bathrooms and fluffy towels, , and were able to find plug-in spots for phones and computers. We visit my folks who live in Tansi RV park during the summer, golf nearby, and always enjoy at least one breakfast at the 19th Hole. Great little getaway for us Northern Kentuckians!

This place is not only kid and pet friendly. But some beautiful. The house was in an absolute pristine condition. You feel so welcomed and right at home. I was absolutely be booking again! There is a beautiful creek in the back yard that does have a fence so kids and animals can’t just wonder back there. There is a swing for the kids and play set. The house was stocked with basic essentials and when I had questions the host was very quick with helpful responses. If I could give a 10 stars I would!!!

We were in the area to visit a family member in the hospital. The Watts Bar River Retreat provided a peaceful and comfortable place to stay and rest up. The cabin was very clean, well stocked and just as the pictures show. One thing I did not realize from the photos is that there is a stand of trees across the driveway from the front porch, so when you are sitting on the porch, you have screening from the road and other houses. It was very relaxing to sit on the rockers on the porch.

My German Shepherd and I have stayed here twice now. We have had everything we needed, and were very comfortable. Lori was so friendly and helpful, and incredibly responsive. She went above and beyond helping me find local places to eat. The location has a lot more outside space than I had realized. If it hadn’t been raining, I’d have loved to sit out in the large yard area! We will definitely be staying here again soon!
