The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Looking for old house charm with modern twist? Welcome to our house on Seminariegatan in Nykarleby, one of the town's most idyllic locations. Touches of traditional and modern Nordic design. Our house was put up in the year 1900 but the logs probably much older. It is ideal for spending time together in front of the fire, cooking, a walk in the forest, bathing in the outdoor wood heated sauna, or weather allowing hanging out on the terrace. The house is fully equipped.

Newly built (2020) beach house in a peaceful area with a private beach. 2,5 km to centre of Jakobstad and close by there are several walking trails. The jacuzzi is in use during summer months, during the winter months November-March the use is not guaranteed.

Cosy loft apartment, with two bedrooms downstairs and a kitchen, living room and bathroom on the second floor. You walk through bedroom one to reach the other. The apartment is close to nature, but still only 5 km from central Pietarsaari. The apartment is a side building next to our house. The large yard has a playground and is surrounded by fields and forests with hiking trails.

A few steps from the house there is also Skolparken where there is a small playground for children and which is perfect for taking the dog for a walk. In the courtyard there is free private parking right outside the door. No lift in the house.

Such a nice house in Gamla Hamn. Close to the archipelago (boat cruises from Macken), the city center,restaurant Pavis Playground ,training and swimming beach close by . Friendly landlord and always welcoming. Highly recommend the house🌹
