Staying in this lovely village with Mama Emilienne was our best and most authentic Rwandan experience, truly local experiences with lovely people of the village. She's the heart of the village and we had a chance to participate in their annual celebration for kids and see their performance and talents. we've been offered great coffee, variety of locally grown fruits and veggies and tasty dishes cooked with local ingredients even rabbit from the village. the village and the villa are both stunning and peaceful, you'll have a bird symphony every morning... Thanks to Inosa, Marta and Cynthia as well for taking good care of us.

The stay at Emilienne was wonderful. All people and the whole family are very friendly. As a traveler, you should know that Emilienne's property can also be found on maps as "Maison Emilienne" - this is the correct address. The room was super clean, the bathroom was ok and the food was phenomenal. There were always 3 meals, all of which were very local, partly from their own garden, and tasted great. I can only encourage everyone to visit Emilienne and her family!

Magical place that is deserved because until the road is finished, 4x4 essential to access: 9km of track that requires a good hour if the rain has not fallen before which was our case for arrival.:-) But this place deserves it in a second. Unforgettable memories guaranteed. Sublime private beach. Patrick is extremely welcoming. Always attentive to the well-being of its guests. All its staff as well. High-end services as everywhere in Rwanda but there with a plus. It was perfect.

Our stay at Mukansoro’s was the highlight of our trip to Rwanda. We shared amazing meals, were introduced to a wonderful community, and experienced a real Rwanda. Can not recommend highly enough.
