A gem of the beaten track in Uganda. The place is owned and hosted by Doreen's parents, Joy and Fredrick. Both are absolutely lovely and are keen to engage with visitors. You have plenty of options to join Joy at her nearby primary school or Fredrick in the field if agriculture is of interest. The surroundings are splendid with the property right at the top of a hill. You have 360 degree views of the various valleys and the lake. It is stunningly beautiful. The house is big and has three bedrooms available for visitors. Joy and Fredrick can provide meals for an additional charge. It is well worth it and we enjoyed the hospitality. We only stayed one night and arrived in the late afternoon after a long drive. I suggest that other visitors stay at least two nights. We had issues finding the place as the map pin was 10kms incorrect. We managed to connect on phone and found our way. I hope that the location will be updated and driving instructions added to the welcome note

The Resort Hotel, your home when your in Ntungamo

Ntugamo Resort Hotel was outstanding in EVERY WAY! We found it as one of two available places to stay in Ntungamo! The management confirmed our request promptly and shared the onsite manager's (Evelyn) contacts. We booked, checked in, and proceeded to our other engagements. All communication with Evelyn—pre-arrival, check-in, until departure—was an absolute pleasure! She was professional and knowledgeable. She handled our check-in smoothly and with urgency and took our breakfast orders for the following day. While out and about, we called to make dinner reservations, which Evelyn and the kitchen staff handled gracefully. The service staff—grounds, room service, housekeeping, and front office—were exceptional, giving prompt service as requested. The bedroom was spacious, with Wi-Fi and hot water. We enjoyed scenic views of the surroundings from atop a hillside residence. We put in a 6-mile run through the hilly terrain of cool vegetation. Easy to get to, I highly recommend the NRH!

Discover Akright City from our lovely apartment, located on top of a hill, in a quiet and secure neighborhood, with spectacular views of Lake Victoria. This stylish apartment which is 20km from Entebbe Airport and 18km from Kampala city centre is perfect for a holiday away whilst enjoying all the comforts of home. From either direction, head towards Kampala-Entebbe road until you get to Bwebajja (Akright stage). Turn left if you are coming from Entebbe or turn right if you are coming from Kampala city and head towards Akright city. Exit onto Bugamba rise on your right then take an immediate left onto Markhamia crescent. As a self-catering apartment, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer, and a microwave. The apartment is a perfect place to relax and offers a smart television, internet access, a private balcony, and a sun terrace. This apartment has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4. In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed. The second bedroom contains a double bed. There are 2 bathrooms. The first bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. The second bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. House Rules: - Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 11am. - Smoking is not allowed. - There are free parking on premises and parking facilities available at the property. - Pets are allowed at the property.
