Guesthouse vacation rentals in Nova Scotia

After three weeks of traveling, we were really looking forward to a break to relax and unwind, and Renee’s little house was simply perfect for that. It is beautifully located in a wonderful area, lovingly furnished, and very well maintained. Renee and Tim are such kind and attentive hosts. We immediately felt welcome and at home. We would love to come back anytime!

It was perfect for a get away from city life. Quiet and peaceful,great view from the deck, beautiful sunsets. The inside was open and spacious. Kitchen fully stocked. we definitely recommend this cottage. Nothing but praise for Taylor and the cottage.

This place is just as described. Unfortunately the bad temperature did not allow us to enjoy the two highlights of the accommodation, the private beach a few minutes' walk away and the veranda.

Yet again, another enjoyable stay at Betty-Jo's lovely home in the nicest part of town. My wife and I have stayed at many BnB's in and around North Sydney over the past few years, and we feel Betty-Jo's is easily the best value for the money. Highly recommended.

It was so peaceful staying at this seaside sanctuary! The gardens were vibrant and the hot tub sitting amongst the gardens and next to the ocean was heaven on earth!

It was the perfect home base for 4 days of touring Cape Breton. Perfectly located to drive the Cabot Trail in either direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise) and we did both. Convenient, comfortable, and cozy for our family trip. Communication was superb, with John providing thorough info not only about the guest house, but also providing great insight into the area. Pat met us upon arrival and showed us around the guest house. Couldn't ask for better location or hosts. Thanks for a helping make a great family vacation for us!

We had a wonderful time at this cottage and it really does- easily- sleep 8! My husband and I, our adult children and their significant others as well as our 3 grandchildren were very comfortable! We cooked easily in the kitchen and the BBQ worked well. We enjoyed the very clean and well maintained pool, playground and arcade. We even used the washer and dryer. We had guests over for a big supper and had tables and chairs for all. It's only 8-9 minutes to cavendish - Shining Waters, Anne of Green Gables and only 30 minutes to Charlottetown. Chandra and Paul are very attentive and we felt very safe. Loved it!

My husband and I had a wedding to attend in the area and saw this location. Theresa was quick to reply, and she even offered an early check-in so we could get ready for the wedding. The space was private and extremely clean. We really appreciated the small touches such as coffee, more blankets and pillows, and lots of bathroom amenities. She really did think of everything! Would recommend this place for sure.

Sandra’s little guest house was just stunning. A small place with so much character and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was fully stocked with all amenities I could think of: pots, pans, spices, all streaming services, and lots of windows for all the sunshine :) I wish we could’ve stayed more than just one night, will be back if I make it back out to Nova Scotia!

This place was an absolute dream! Beautiful, peaceful cottage tucked away at the end of the lane. Very quiet and cozy. The place was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed. I hope to stay here again someday!

My family and I had a great time at Louise's cottage. Louise herself was very sweet and took a great care of us. She was very friedndly, accommodating and treated us like her own family! The place she and Michael owns is simply amazing. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. We had everything we needed and even more for a comfortable two night stay. We enjoyed spending the time outside overlooking the lake and taking all the surrounding beauty in. Each night Louise treated us to a warm bonfire under the myriads of stars. We would highly recommend Louise's place to everyone. And hopefully we get to enjoy it again one day as well.

We were very pleased with our stay. Nicole was easy to work with and even willing to change our reservation at the last minute to add on two extra days. The location was very convenient for some meetings we were attending, but also not too far from Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay which were all recommended tourist locations. The apartment was quite and had a very nice view of a nearby lake. The studio apartment was bigger than I expected and it was nice to have a love seat and table with chairs so that there were comfortable places to sit besides the bed. Everything was like new.

Beautiful and spacious accommodations. Honestly one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve had. Such a unique property and Spiro could not have been more gracious. Excellent all around.

We loved our one night stay at Valerie’s Airbnb. Valerie was very responsive and had every detail covered at her property. It was a quiet, private property with a great hot tub to relax in. The bed was comfortable. The home was very clean. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay!

We had a great couple of days by the lake where we were made to feel welcome from the start. Our children loved the lake and we were fortunate to have a good day of weather where we could use the kayaks and do some fishing from the dock. My son and I even managed to catch a bass each. The location is so picturesque and despite the hosts living next door, the property is private and has a small garden which allowed the kids to run around and play games. In the evening we were able to sit around the fire pit and toast some marshmallows while looking out over the lake. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we are lucky enough to return to NS we would definitely stay again.

The Ferry Loft was well stocked with many things that you would need. It is clean, bright and provides a wonderful view of the Digby Harbour entrance and lighthouse at the mouth. We stayed three days and could easily have stayed a week. The Loft was comfortable and inviting so much so we wished we didn’t have to leave. It was neat to see the Digby-Saint John ferry pass each day. The location was wonderful and peaceful; on the way to The Loft you will pass several of the local historic sites such as Port Royal. Bobbi was friendly and checked in to make sure all was going well. This is a place to revisit and to recommend.

Absolutely amazing! A truly beautiful space in an even more beautiful location. Great hosts and a great experience overall, I would recommend this airbnb and happily book again should the opportunity arise!

We stayed the week in Sydney and Vanessa's place was perfect. it has everything you need and was very clean and comfortable.

Lovely property, peaceful, private and the house was wonderful and perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone. We had brought our dogs and this is a big property with plenty of room to walk them through the field. The house is kept very clean and plenty of rooms and beds for our group of 5.

Very peaceful location close to the sea and national parks. The small house was very comfortable for a couple. Kitchen had every thing required, also there's a washer and dryer. I would recommend this property if you like peaceful vacations.

Beautiful older bulding in a quieter part of Sackville. The yard and area were especially nice during a spring visit. Lots of beautiful flowers and spring peeper frogs around. The airbnb is very well stocked and taken care of. Any time I could think of something I wanted, it was already there (for example yoga mats, extra blankets on the couch). The fresh flowers on the dining table were a thoughtful touch. I stayed here without a vehicle and it was still very walkable to downtown, or over to the lake in the other direction.

Perfect little place to call home for the night. Host super accomodating !!! Definitely recommend!!
