The residence is located about 30 minutes from Tromsø Airport, in the direction of Sommarøy. Car is recommended! The accommodation is in scenic surroundings, allowing nature experiences such as northern lights, mountain hikes or just a quiet evening around the fire pit on the terrace to be enjoyed. The home includes all cooking utensils. Private bathroom with washing machine, shower and toilet. Living room with sofa, dining table and TV with Chrome cast. Welcome.

Firewood is provided. The cabin is equipped with electricity and wifi. Water is collected from the creek, in winter the host puts in cans with water. Outhouse located nearby.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. Nice sauna can be rented for 600 sek - needs to be booked at least one day in advance. Takes 4-6 hours to heat. Own car or rental car is required. Or transport by taxi. No bus connection available. Nearest grocery store is in Kiruna C (15 km) or in Jukkasjärvi (10 km).
