Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northampton

I could not recommend this enough. The right mix of updated and original. Kitchen was fully redone and lots of space. The back gardens were great and we would walk into town daily. Very close to Smith College. 4 out of 4 stars!

Zach is really proactive and kind. He left me alone , which is what I needed for this short trip, but made me feel like if I needed anything (recommendations, assistance, communications) he would be responsive and quick. The place is a cool New England house with a lot of charm. The neighbors are respectful and quiet. Youre minutes away from a lot of great Connecticut icons and Uber is accessible and cheap. I hope to stay here agin when I return in Sept. The upstairs room is challenging if there are mobility concerns - I would try to book the lower levels. All was wonderful and Zach was kind.

House is beautiful w carefully selected furnishings & art! The owner goes above & beyond w food items & a wide array of toiletries/extras. Separate heat/air control in each bedroom. Beds were comfortable, high quality bedding. Bedrooms have ample storage/seating. Well equipped for kids - toys, books, games, art supplies, high chair, first aid, etc. Keep in mind the 1 bathroom is upstairs. We loved the charming kitchen - mix of old/new components, beautiful selection of dishware, large sliding window. Appliances + toaster, microwave, electric kettle, 2 coffee-making options, selection of tea/coffee, pantry staples, cleaning supplies. Directions posted for trash, recycling, compost. Rules seemed overwhelming at first but turned out to be helpful. Front porch great for relaxing - overlooks the street, pretty sidewalk flower garden, charming neighborhood. Street parking fluctuated but always found a spot. Location is walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, concerts, Smith College!

Terry was amazing. We had an issue and couldn't check in on time and Terry worked with us. If we could come back and stay we definitely would!

We were three couples coming together for a college reunion in the area. The house fit our needs perfectly with plenty of space to relax and cook. The fireplace was a godsend during a May nor'easter. Victoria left detailed instructions and welcomed us with thoughtful touches like popcorn and local restaurant recommendations. We just can't recommend it enough if you're looking in the area. Our only regret was that we were unable to enjoy the outdoor fire pit given the weather.

Very cute apartment and more than what we needed for a one night stay on a wedding weekend! The downstairs has a charming sitting room and spacious kitchen with fridge, stove, and laundry. The stairs were a bit steep so be cautious! Upstairs a comfy soft bed with window AC and a large bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower. Jennifer was very nice about our last minute request to check in early to change for a 4 PM wedding. We would stay here again if we come back to the area! Thanks so much!

This was a terrific place, just as described. It is less than a half mile from a decent size road and a few miles from towns, but it feels very rural. Katherine had the space well-stocked and clean. She was extremely accessible and a pleasure to interact with.

This first floor apartment is wonderful- homey, well equipped, on a quiet friendly street with lots of greenery, peaceful and easy. Parking was a breeze in a well marked space and the location is convenient to all things in and around Easthampton and Northampton, with good walking destinations, restaurants, and more. Rocky has many thoughtful touches and the kitchen was so well outfitted, I was sorry I didn't stay longer to do some cooking there!

Our experience at Carrie's studio apartment was just what we needed after a busy day attending to a family project. The apartment is spacious and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, couches and lounging chair. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom neat and clean. Although we didn't have much time to enjoy it, a small outside porch overlooking a lower garden and an expanse of a neighbor's green lawn was an added perk. The apartment is a short walk into the village of Shelburne Falls with its diverse shops, many eateries, pharmacy (good spot for an ice cream soda), small grocery store (an organic oriented store is just across the bridge), bookstore, and very nice wine store (near the Pot Holes). Don't miss Gypsy Apple, a culinary treat for a special occasion (check for the evenings open as they are limited). Our respite at Carrie's was peacefully quiet and restorative. I have no reservations about recommending Carrie's lodging.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was cozy, clean, and cute. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby nature areas. Robin and Bud were great hosts - they were proactive in making sure the place was right for us during the booking process. They were also responsive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights at Aisjah's beautiful rental for our daughter's wedding at Union Station Banquets. What a perfect location. Everything is within walking distance and yet the home is beautiful and quiet with gorgeous flowers all around. Absolutely spotless home that seems brand new; kitchen has new appliances and all the necessities and linens were plentiful and spotless. Bedrooms, living room and large full bathroom are upstairs while the kitchen and eating area are downstairs. Hope to have another opportunity to stay here!

We will never stay at a hotel again. For the price of a hotel we stayed in a cozy one bedroom apartment that was perfect for two. Bed was comfortable. We watched Netflix after seeing a show to wind down, and with one of us being a night owl and one being an early bird it gave us the space to relax without disturbing the other. We asked for a fan when we arrived as my husband liked a breeze and the owner delivered one very quickly. Highly recommend.

Eric was a great host and Carolina was super easy to work with. Instructions were clear and detailed making getting settled in great. The location is perfect with a lot of things to do within walking distance. The apartment is beautifully remodeled and very spacious for 4 adults. I would definitely stay again given the great experience we had.

Obinna is a great host and this apartment is so comfortable and lots of space to stretch out. Fully stocked kitchen and there are fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Two 65", high end tvs and the mattresses on the beds are sooo nice. Obinna puts effort in where a lot of hosts cheap out, which really makes this pad special. It's tough to get an open spot here on the calendar, but, if get the chance, make your reservation here. It's the best in the area.

We stayed at Julia's vacation rental for a 3-day weekend with our four children under the age of 12. The things that were great: 1) the unit is 150 foot walk in ski boots from a ski trail that will take you to the Mount Snow lift, which was great because we didn't have to shlep 4 kids ski gear, 2) the four kids loved the bunk bed room and were comfortable, 3) there are two large shelves of board games the kids enjoyed, 4) the access to the Sports Center which has a heated indoor pool and hot tubs were a great way to end the day after skiing, 5) the outdoor locker was a great place to dump all the ski gear (much better storage location than inside the car or inside the unit) and 6) very nice fluffy towels and bed sheeting was comfortable. A combined liquid shampoo and body soap is provided in each bathroom, which is the same that we use to bath our kids at home.

The unit is very comfortable for a family and very convenient to Mount Snow. Updated bathrooms and washer/dryer. Great clubhouse and pool facilities at Seasons condo. Andrew was a pleasure to work with.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Rafael's condo. The space was very clean and comfy, and exactly matched the description and photos posted here. The fireplace was a great draw, too. If you're planning on skiing at Mt. Snow, the Moover shuttle bus stop is located right outside of this building, which made for a very convenient and quick way to get to Mt. Snow for my family of 4. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Beautiful and very clean space! We had the most wonderful long weekend at Goran's apartment. He was so responsive and super friendly... cannot recommend enough. We will be back!

Great little studio spot to use as your Basecamp for activities in the area!

We are repeat visitors. Staying here is always a pleasure. The apartment is wonderful. Just as described and perfect for day trips or just staying in. Mary and Lance are friendly and courteous. Hope to be able to stay here again when in the area.

Very close to Mount Snow. Walking distance to market, coffee house and Dover Bar and Grill. A dog friendly rental with everything you need for a ski trip.
