Light-filled (4 skylights!) upstairs apartment in 169-year-old home. Cozy and playful decor with a lot of nostalgia. The house has beautiful wide pine plank floors. If you like straight lines, this house is not for you - it's a little wonky, but we find its charm far outmeasures the crooked doorways and other quirks. Located in Fox Point, a 15 min walk to brown, steps from Wickenden and Ives streets, the Newport Ferry, coffee shops, and restaurants, but on a side street out of the way of it all.

The kitchen features a sleek layout with a large island at its center, complemented by three tall wooden stools. Modern appliances, including a microwave, are situated within the cabinetry. Natural light filters through the window above the sink, enhancing the elegant black and white color scheme.

Our one-bedroom apartment is plenty spacious for two people and a cozy stay for more than two. It's a stone's throw away from Hope Village, where there is plenty of charm, shopping, and great food. We are less than a mile from Brown and RISD. The apartment has its own private entrance. There is no parking on the premises, however, there is plenty of free street parking, very often right in front of the house.

Located right above Venda Ravioli—one of the best spots for authentic Italian food in all of New England—you truly can’t beat the location. Federal Hill is already known for its vibrant culture and incredible dining, but being able to walk downstairs and grab fresh pasta, espresso, or a world-class meal was a next-level experience. Diane clearly puts a lot of thought and care into the space. Every detail felt considered, from the decor to the amenities. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone visiting Providence. Whether you're a foodie, a history lover, or just someone looking for a clean, beautiful place to stay—this is it.

The place was very nice , Jason was very respectful and responsive of whenever I had questions . The only downside was I totally could’ve found out on my own with more researching , we are located in the basement level and at times we were able to hear the person above us walking around . We loved our stay at The Wyndham Long Wharf. Maxx upgraded our accommodation to a 2 bedroom (thank you!). Checking in was easy at the front desk, free parking, 2 pools, game room, hot tubs, and a welcome reception for guests. Park and walk to all of Newport. Across the street the Wyndham has a roof top terrace - not to be missed. It was a great homebase to see all of Newport!
