Everything went as expected, a beautiful and clean place where it was nice to relax. Of course, we expected to have been able to do outdoor activities, but the beautiful outdoor terrain worked just as well!

Beautiful views of the hills at the other side of the lake. I stayed in the hottub for hours just looking at the gorgeous surroundings. The cabin and sauna were cozy, well equiped and clean. The surrounding are was very quiet and calm; perfect for relaxing. Downsides for this place would be the location. Although perfect for a getaway, plan your trips to the store well, and don't forget the diesel for the hottub. The water comes from a well, has some discoloration and has a taste of iron. Nothing serious, but if you're picky about your water, bring some from the store. Big thanks to Niko for letting us stay here! Well definitely book here again, if we're looking to stay the night in the area.

Harri's chalet is very well-equipped. We didn't miss a thing. As stated in the listing, towels, kitchen towels and sheets are not provided. So we planned this in our suitcases. The environment is very pleasant and quiet. Perfect views of the lake! We even had the chance to see a moose, a magical moment! A car is essential to access the stores. For example, Savonlinna is about 50 km away. The only negative point was the cleanliness on arrival, requiring cleaning before we settled in. Harri was very understanding on this subject. We still recommend it because we had a lovely stay.

We had a great stay; the surroundings are amazing, and the cabin is super cozy with nice amenities. I would definitely like to stay there again.

We enjoyed the holiday there very much. In addition to pure relaxation, there were also plenty of activities that were offered to make the stay as unique as possible. The toboggan run, which is only a few minutes walk away from the house, was a super busy for small and large. With the snowmobile provided, we were able to explore the surroundings and drive through the snowy forests. We had a lot of fun! The highlight was also the ice bathing in the lake after the sauna as well as ice fishing. Many thanks to Arthur and his son for sawing up the hole in the frozen lake😁. Definitely worth an experience! We can only recommend this house from the whole family and assure you they will have a holiday like never before with enough fun and relaxation.

Beautiful and peaceful cottage on the shore of a small lake. The barbecue hut was no longer there, but something else was being built in its place, but we knew about it before we stayed. Plusses for pet-friendliness and the fence surrounding the cottage yard, thanks to which the dog was also able to run around the yard freely :)

Comfortable and functional cottage, wonderful sauna, good sleep in the barn. The property is located on the shore of a beautiful pond, in a really peaceful place, even though there are two other cottages on the same pond. Birdsong and the hum of the wind in the soundscape, endless forest roads are good for jogging. Hiking destinations Ruunaa and Änäkäinen are a short drive away. A really cozy place where you can get a Finnish summer cottage feeling. The host is really helpful and responds to messages quickly.

We had a great stay

The cottage was in a great location, very cozy and cozy. The windows opened up to views of Puruvesi. The heat of the furnace welcomed us, and it was nice to have a fire during our stay. The trees in both the oven and sauna were ready. The sauna was atmospheric and the steam was gentle, you could easily cool off on the deck. The kitchen was well-equipped, found everything you need. The beds and bedding were pleasant. Mikko communicated actively and kindly, making us feel welcome. I'm sure you can warmly recommend this place for a break from everyday life in all seasons. I think we'll visit again.

A cozy and functional cottage is located on the shore of a stunningly beautiful Höytiäinen. The necessary cottage equipment and a good sauna, where we also had great views of the lake. Kalaisa lake served its antimony and its clean water refreshed swimmers. There were also nice dirt roads for jogging and walking. The nearby Pöppökallio and nearby forests attract samoilu. The peace and quiet that crowningly invites us back next summer too! Koli and its surroundings were a great place to day in the right distance. Messaging with Jouni worked well and warmly!

The cottage is situated at the end of a rough track. Kristiina sends good instructions as the navigator is inaccurate. The view from the cottage is perfect... straight onto Lake Pielinen. There is a large area for use and it feels totally private. The cottage is comfortable and spacious.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, new house at the lake. The house and everything in it was new and clean, spacious and well taken care of. The view of the lake is beautiful, the water very clear. Great that we could use the rowing boat. We enjoyed the veranda and being in serene nature very much. All worked well in the kitchen and the sauna. If you want to enjoy a kind of remote place in nature it is perfect. It is very quiet and there is no road nearby, only a sort of dirtroad getting there. There are a few houses nearby but we had no neighbours this time and it is all situated so that it feels very private. We really recommend this place and we hope that we can visit it another time.

As mentioned before, the cottage road is not suitable for a terribly low car. Otherwise, the cottage exceeded expectations, a luxury cottage!

The cottage was well-equipped and very clean. The log sauna heated up quickly and provided good steam. The cottage was in a very beautiful and quiet location. The windows opened to a view of Pielinen and the beach was only 20 meters away. The cottage had its own beach, barbecue area and rowboat. You can row by boat to the nearby Sikosaari (about 600m), where there was a dock, a lean-to and a barbecue area. Sulo was very friendly. He came to welcome us and tell us about the cottage and its surroundings. The cottage was a short distance from the hiking trails of the Koli National Park and was an excellent base for day trips. We had a great holiday in Koli and we recommend the cottage to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature and hiking.
