Pamela's garden apartment is in a wonderful location - perfect for us during our daughter's Brooklyn wedding weekend. The outdoor space was the main draw and didn't disappoint - we didn't spend a lot of time there due to wedding festivities but it was quiet for sleeping and we loved having coffee outside in the mornings.

Great, safe neighborhood; easy access to town, restaurants, and highways; close proximity to NYC with convenient public bus transportation nearby; also nearby huge wooded parks suitable for hiking. The residential facility was very comfortable and met our needs very well for our 7 week stay.

Great little basement apartment, ideal for a couple or small, intimate family, in a wonderful area with access to many shops, restaurants, bars, coffee and mass transit. Right around the corner from happening Prospect Park, so abundant space to stroll and exercise vigorously, not to mention the zoo, Brooklyn Museum and botanical garden. Even though there is so much to do in Brooklyn, Manhattan feels as if it’s right around the corner due to multiple nearby sub stations. The diversity of the immediate neighborhood makes it even more beautiful. Finally, the hosts are readily accessible to help out with any special requests and questions. Even though their home is right above the apartment, they are not intrusive in any way and settle down at reasonable hours so all can rest. I highly recommend the place.

Great home in a great location. Washer/dryer is a very nice plus. Parking is reasonable and slightly better than average for NYC. Would definitely stay here again!

Blanch is an amazing host! This was our second time staying in this apartment to be near family for an event and it was even better than I remembered. We have three young kids and Blanch set the space up with the extra main room twin bed and the pull-out couch set up for them. The place is exactly as it looks (note that the kitchen doesn't have much seating room, but we made it work). When family stopped by to eat with us, Blanch graciously set us up with an outside bench so we could enjoy sitting outside together. We are very grateful for her help and would happily stay here again on a future visit! Thank you!

Marty was great! Easy to communicate with, very responsive, and helpful with all aspects of the process. The location is perfect. Less than 5 minute walk to get to multiple subway lines making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The location felt safe and secure for the duration of our stay and we felt comfortable coming back late night after a show. We will definitely come back and stay again.

Patrecia and Birane were helpful and pleasant hosts. The place accommodated 5(senior parents, my husband, kid and me) of us comfortably. The house had the amenities that we needed for our 4 night stay such as a kitchen to cook easy meals, a kettle, washer and dryer, a Dining table for family meals, pots and pans. Each room had it’s own TV and cooling. This arrangement worked out well for us. Some of the notable additions were - 1. First aid kit 2. Various dip tea sachets 3. Route map of buses to New York(very helpful) 4. Kid friendly items like a pack and play, a gate 5. A Iron press and iron board There were enough towels for all of us to use for our 4 night stay. The USP of this house location is the proximity to the bus stand. It is just a few steps away from the house. We used the NJ transit bus and commuted into New York City all three days of our sightseeing days. It worked out very well for us. The neighborhood felt safe and is residential. Parking was in the driveway.

This is a very nice and comfy Airbnb, we were happy to have found it. It was clean and nicely furnished, the bed was comfy and the linens and towels were very nice. The in and out access was great too. We had a couple of minor issues we mentioned to David and he was very responsive and was going to deal with them right away (I mentioned them on our last day). We didn't spend much time there, really only to sleep so I can't speak to the overall kitchen amenities but the kitchen was nice and clean (and spacious for NY!). Our daughter lives on the next block over so the location was incredibly convenient! This unit does have pretty easy access to the subway so that is a plus as well. It's very close to a nice street with lots of restaurants, grocery, shopping, laundry, etc. I only give it 3 stars for cost because it still makes it difficult to visit our grand daughter in NY when the cost per night is so expensive, but I realize, it's NY (sigh).

My family and I had a great stay at Justin’s place in Newark over the long Memorial Day weekend. The apartment was clean, had a nice size kitchen area with everything needed to cook meals if wanted/needed. It had two bathrooms! A big bonus for a family of three! Also, another great plus was its proximity to the Newark-Penn station..less than a 10 minute walk. From there you can get to most anyplace in NJ or NYC using public transit, which is what we did. Justin was a friendly and helpful host, always quick to answer questions. I would highly recommend his place to stay in Newark, a great value and extremely convenient.

This place is a gem and I hope to be back! Anna Kay was friendly, responsive, and helpful. The place was just what I needed - comfortable and cute! The private back patio area was an absolute bonus. Easy access to New York, but also lots within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay very much with Sara and Fabien. They were very helpful in helping us navigate getting there as well as getting us settled in. So communicative the whole 5 day stay. The space was very private and spacious. Everything was clean and tidy. We didn’t eat meals there but having a full kitchen with lovely lighting was excellent either way. We enjoyed the hotel feel of the room because the bed was comfy and there were blackout curtains, which really made us feel rested. The space was also decorated in a way that made me feel right at home. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby (Cafe Madeline was a host rec and so tasty) and a Q train two blocks away. If you don’t mind staying a bit from the city, this is an excellent choice in a tranquil neighborhood.

Ronnie was more than amazing house. The house is stocked with everything you need, especially as a woman, down to the bath and body works wash and feminine projects. The house is so modern, clean, stylish, and comfortable,— only 30 minutes from Brooklyn by car. Don’t worry about the neighborhood, everyone is kind and no one bothers you. (Newark can have a bad rep). This house is directly located near the children’s hospital. The only complaint is I wish I could have stayed sooner. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s so much more beautiful. Also Ronnie was so kind and responsive. You will not regret staying here!

Chris's place was just as described. Chris communicated frequently to make sure we had all the information we needed to get into and use the space as well as explore around town. There were also lots of great snacks and breakfast food.

Gala’s place was awesome! Private, quaint, secure and well decorated. A perfect little place to stay, especially if wanting to get away from the big city. Galla was quick to response to any questions we had and was very communicative. So if you’re looking for a nice, well kept, cute place to stay, I would fully recommend this place.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood—just what was needed after several busy travel days and days in the heatwave. Cannot express how peaceful the neighborhood was. Easy (and safe) walk to transportation. Very attentive hosts.

We loved staying at this spot in Brooklyn. Tucked away enough that we mainly ubered to our attractions, but had quiet & peaceful mornings and evenings upon our return. Back yard was a huge plus, in addition to super easy navigation into and out of our stay. Super clean space with many amenities included, hosts are amazing & if we return to Brooklyn we will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! Omar was very responsive and provided clear, easy to follow instructions for checking in. The place was spotless and as exactly as described. Location of the place is easy to get to with a lot of bars and coffee shops around. I would definitely stay there again

This is a great find. We usually stay in a Brooklyn Airbnb when we go up to New York, and Travis's place was one of my favorites for a few reasons: 1. It's only a 2 block walk to the C train, which takes you directly to many of the places we tend to visit in NYC -- Greenwich Village, Times Square (if you're seeing Broadway shows), Central Park/West Side, etc. We had something to do on the Upper East Side this time, and that was really easy too even with the transfer at Fulton St. 2. The apartment is in a lovely brownstone on one of those quintessential historic Brooklyn brownstone-lined streets. Parking is easy (just make sure to move your car based on alternate side rules). It's very quiet at night. And there are delis/grocery/pizza all in walking distance. (Also, try Peaches restaurant) 3. The apartment itself is really nice - with upscale furnishings (that Eames chair is SO comfortable), quality mattress, great shower/shower products, etc. Will definitely book this place again.

The location was perfect — close to shops, public transport, and great spots to explore. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant — I always received quick responses to my questions, including helpful parking tips. We were also kindly allowed to check out later. Truly grateful for the hospitality and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great! Checking in was easy. The place was clean. The neighborhood was nice. I would recommend it to anyone in the area or driving into NYC. One of the best Airbnb places that I've stayed.
