Vacation rentals in Norman's Cove-Long Cove

We had a wonderful stay at the Boathouse with our 3 year old!! We really appreciated the welcome gifts and lovely note upon arrival. David and Kim were extremely responsive with any questions we had leading up, and made sure our stay was perfect!! The boathouse had everything we needed. We found the bed comfortable which is always very important to us! The weather didn't cooperate for our long weekend stay, but it didn't even matter as there is a beautiful covered deck where you can still sit out when it's raining and have a fire overlooking the peaceful water! Our little guy loved making s'mores in the bonfire and throwing rocks into the water! Our only regret was not taking our little pups along for the adventure!!!

If you are looking for beachfront then this not it but it does not matter. The peaceful location is worth it, and it is only a 10 minute walk to Willie's Walking Trail which has stellar views and whimsical items that will make you smile. A few minute's drive takes you to a great brewey. Sadly Pitchers was out of their cold plates every time we stopped in but that is a reason to go back! Bonus find are the salted caramel cookies at Harnum's. Those things are pure evil! We slept like logs and one time in the early morning I lookes out a window and expectes to see Sasquatch...the place is THAT peaceful. Fire pit is a nice bonus, but not as good as the bonus of having such responsive and kind hosts.

This was a fabulous find! The hosts met us at check in time and I found this to be a great touch. They made sure that we were comfortable and knew how to use the hot tub. They were very friendly and very easy to talk to. They also went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable for the evening. They were very responsive to messages and took no time to respond. The house was amazing and it had everything that you would need to have a wonderful stay. We had a wonderful evening in the hot tub, I would highly recommend this house and cannot wait for my next stay there.

Keith & Nancy are great hosts. Prompt, responsive, & attentive to our questions & flexible & generous in solving issues. The cottage is a gem of a place; nicely furnished with nice floors and lots of space, especially the loft upstairs, although the loft itself was not set up as a living space. Nonetheless, the beautiful rug and lovely clean floors in the loft gave a feeling of spaciousness and elegance which I loved. Somewhat challenging to manage were the low ceilings in the upstairs cute bedrooms ( really great for kids though) where we had to bend to maneuver bumping our heads. The sofa downstairs was a bit small & low for using on a long term stay as the cushions often slid forward. Notwithstanding that, the cottage was pleasant to be in with a nice kitchen that had lots of space. We got feelings of ease &relaxation from our stay in the cottage, with its soft, soothing colors and a sense of freshness & cleanness in the air which we valued a lot! Thank you Keith & Nancy!

one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. the location is amazing right in front of a working fishing harbor, where we bought fresh lobster, thanks to Cheryl's recommendation, who also lent us her lobster pot :) had everything we needed, we hope to come back soon thanks cheryl

We recently stayed at Puffin Perch for a mini staycation, and it was truly the perfect escape. Nestled in the quiet and charming town of Heart’s Content, the Airbnb offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that helped us completely unwind from our busy schedules. The interior of the home is beautifully designed, elegant, cozy, and equipped with smart appliances that made our stay extra comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows were a highlight, offering stunning views that brought the outdoors in. The weather was in our favour, which made everything even better, from morning coffee with a view to peaceful evening strolls in the lovely community. It was such a refreshing experience for both me and my wife, and we’re already planning to return, maybe for a longer stay next time! Highly recommend this gem of a place for anyone looking to recharge and relax.

The house appears newly built and was very clean and well-stocked. It is in an excellent location and has a great view!
