Lovely cabin by the sea

Welcome to our charming cottage, built in classic Lofoten style, inspired by the traditional wooden houses in Northern Norway. Here you get a perfect combination of rustic coastal charm and modern comfort – ideal as a base for nature experiences, family fun or just total relaxation in beautiful surroundings. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and plenty of room for 6 adults. In addition, there is a travel bed for small children and a sofa bed that is suitable for children or teenagers.

Single room with own entrance

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to supermarket, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light. Kaljord Havhus! Here you will find the perfect holiday spot. Whether you want to stay close to the ocean, go fishing in our beautiful fjord, walk in the mountains or simply stay in one with nature, the possibility is here. There is also fine ski conditions during the winter. Close by is Møysalen National Park where you find Raftsund/Trollfjord few minutes away by boat, marked hiking trails, a local shop and cafe. We have boat and bikes for rent.

The place is located in the historical part of Brønnøysund and the house is over 100 years old. About 300 m to the shopping center and 50 m to the sea. The apartment is located in parts of the 1st floor, bedroom 1 has 120cm bed and bedroom 2 has 150cm bed. The apartment has a living room that there is also an opportunity to lie in and a big bathroom. Small kitchen is shared by hosts and guests. The host lives upstairs.

Nordlanshuset Slettvoll - Newly restored

Restored timber house from the late 1800s, a classic Nordland house that has been modernized. Very quiet and nice location on a large property right by the water (lake) where there are salmon and sea trout if you are interested in fishing. The house is centrally located for trips both west and east in Lofoten. Short distance to the grocery store, 5min and about 20min drive by car to Leknes and 45min to Svolvær.
