Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our ranch and peony farm. We have 2 cabins that sleep 4 each. Sitting on 10 acres. Sandhill Cranes, local birds, and plenty of moose. There is a cow moose with twins again. We are 4 miles from Anchor Point, and the world renowned Anchor River. We are 5 miles from the ocean. A large lot to park and turn your toys around in right by your cabin. Absolutely no pets allowed…. We love animals, yet do not want to clean up after them and do not want the allergens for future guests. Very private and peaceful.

The view. That's all I've got to say about that because it left us speechless. The cabin itself was extremely comfortable and clean, and we had everything we could need or want. It is at a great location between Soldotna and Homer. My only complaint is that we didn't have more time to just sit on the deck and soak in the view and visit with the moose, marmets, and mockingbirds.

This is one of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed in. The view of Beluga Lake was stunning. The decor was very cozy, current, and perfect. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. The bath was large and truly spa like (amazing water pressure too). The kitchen had all you need! It was 5 min from Safeway and 10 min from The Spit. We bumped into the host one day while there and Jen was incredibly friendly and made some nice recommendations. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Based on the space, amenities, location, & price, it was a score! Thx Jen!

Wow, what an incredible trip! I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I visited, but Stella was the nicest host ever. She gave me a wonderful tour of the Homestead, and I even got to explore her childhood home. For fans of the show, I had the amazing luck of meeting Otto—such a fluke, but I’m super thankful! If you enjoy the show or the Homestead life, this is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back next year!
