The Voorhuis of our national monument farm has been renovated into a fully luxurious suite with its own facilities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee where you can sleep, have been preserved. This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has a beautiful view over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Our beautifully rebuilt farmhouse is located in Sondel, the first village behind Lemmer, even before Balk in Gaasterland, southwest Friesland. A lovely place for a family weekend or a weekend with friends. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen to cook with each other, a large dining table, space garden, an outdoor BBQ (on gas). The Gaasterland is well known for its forests and lakes for walking, cycling, sailing and horseback riding. There are also several golf courses in the nearby area.

The cottage was completely newly built in 2019, it has underfloor heating. Downstairs is the living room with kitchen, a spacious 2-person bedroom and the bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms suitable for three people. The cottage has its own driveway with parking. About 2 kilometers away is the village of Oudemirdum, here you will find the necessary amenities (bakery, butcher, supermarket and restaurants). Nijemirdum is located on the beautiful Zuiderzee route, often ridden by cyclists.
