My place has great sea views. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the historic setting and stone wall interiors. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets).
“We had the most lovely time at the Neuk. It's a romantic hideaway with what feels like your own private beach & hearing the waves as you go to sleep is instantly relaxing. Hidden away in lovely farmland there's even a chance to see the Northern lights or at least the stars on a clear night night. Lynn & Bill are the perfect hosts and were extremely accommodating & friendly throughout our stay. My partner is disabled & they have though of everything, which made the stay even more relaxing - the walk in shower is lush and the bed is super comfy! We've already planned our return! Thank you both! Clare & Robbie”
Puffin Cottage is a cosy former fisherman's cottage full of original features and character, with open fire, original wood panel walls and ceiling beams. The cottage it is nestled rests at the foot of grass-covered cliffs with the sea just yards away in the village of Pennan, made famous by the film Local Hero.
“We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Gayle's lovely fisherman's cottage in Pennan. The house is compact but cosy (with the log fire), extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. The space was perfect for a couple but, because of the additional single bedroom, would work just as well for a family of three or two single adults. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped (one of the best we have stayed in) and with plenty of salt, pepper, herbs, tea-bags etc to use or borrow and replenish. The pub hadn't yet opened for the summer when we stayed (opens end April I think) but we were very happy to put the fire on, cook and read. Despite Storm Dennis, the sun shone every day in this corner of Scotland and so we got lots of walks in and even ate our sandwiches on the beach. I particularly recommend walking to the caves at New Aberdour, and also taking the Stagecoach bus from Portsoy to Portknockie (about 15 mins, every 2 hours) and walking back along the beautiful coast path via Cullen and Sandend (about 9 miles). The booking arrangements and check-in were all straightforward and Gayle has left loads of useful information in the house. I would definitely recommend staying in this house.”

“I enjoyed our stay at this holiday house. Jackie was so welcoming and was always available if we needed any help. We appreciated the extra touch of the welcome pack with essential food items included. We enjoyed our short holiday and would come back again.”
