Beautiful, light flooded, waterfront home 1 hour from New York City. The 2 bedroom home is on picturesque Lake Carmel. Wake up, eat, sleep and relax to the tranquil view of the glistening water - truly an oasis! Take in a sunset while eating a meal at home, explore the shops and restaurants in a cute nearby town, take a walk around the lake, read a book by the cozy fireplace, hike, cook, kayak, ski, or just sit and enjoy. Centrally located close to Hudson Valley, Westchester and Connecticut.

Great little place just for a couple

It's quiet and cozy here. The yard is completely fenced with tall living shrubs, flowers, and trees. There's a gas grill, a fire pit, and a place to dine under an umbrella in the garden. I rent out a separate half of the house to guests: one bedroom, a small kitchen combined with a hallway. Peace and quiet reign here. You won't be disturbed. Sometimes I go into my half of the house, but very rarely. There are no other guests on the property, just you. I don't charge extra for pets. Parking free.

It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two inflatable two person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1..
