This cozy cottage known as "Casa Escuela" was originally a school house in the late 1890's, that belonged to my great grandfather and passed down generations. This newly remodeled home has an outside patio with beatiful views. It is within walking distance (1.5mile) to Georgia O’keeffe home, nearby Rio Chama, hiking to nearby caves. 1 mile from Hunting road (CR189), nearby grocery store known as Bode's. 10 miles to the Abiquiu Lake. Adobe Casita Behind Balloon Fiesta- Pet Friendly

This adobe casita is a special place – washed in sunlight, quiet and tucked into a half acre with grass, trees, flowers, rabbits and birds. Located right behind the Balloon Fiesta grounds and is just a few minutes drive, it is only 15-20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque and about 50 minutes from Santa Fe. Plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and soak up the sun. And great Wifi for remote work. The casita sits on the same lot as a larger house that is occupied by a long-term tenant.
