This very small, compact cottage is in a rural setting, off the beaten path. It is about a 12 minute drive to Middlebury where you can find shops, restaurants and Middlebury College. Burlington is about 40 minutes north of where we are located. Hiking/skiing in the Green Mountains, fly fishing in the nearby New Haven River, boating/swimming on Lake Champlain, and enjoying the many local craft breweries and wineries are some of the many activities you have access to from this beautiful spot.

Just minutes away from Middlebury College, this well designed 1 bedroom is the perfect place for a stress-free getaway! Great location for parents to stay when visiting their Midd kids. The renovated apartment is well appointed with central heating/AC, super fast WiFi, laundry machines, full kitchen, full en suite bathroom with bath and shower, brand new queen bed and mattress, a great room with dining, cozy seating, and a 65" smart TV. This clean and tidy unit is the definition of easy living.

Mt Abe and Bartlett's Falls are the closest options. We're also close to civilization with several towns close by to explore for food, drink, art, and shopping. Simple beauty, generous space and peace, in a second floor one bedroom guest apartment with bathtub, shower and galley kitchen without stove. Double futon in living area for additional guests. A very sweet private getaway for a couple, or group of friends or small family. Bristol is a true New England find with an active arts community, good restaurants and shops, as well as several yoga and tai chi instructional groups. Settle your energy here and enjoy life. This is a spacious guesthouse/retreat where you can relax and unwind. There are great views and walking down the road is serene, with open fields bordered by woods and teaming with wildlife. In the winter you can Nordic ski or snowshoe right outside your door, through fields and woodland paths down by an active sugar-bush. We currently have chickens as well as my friendly dog Annie who loves to play. We also have a young kitty named LB who is a pip.

Close to nearby towns for coffee and sweet treats, public beach access without 10 min. Perfect place for a refresh and rest!

We had a wonderful stay at Kurt’s place for Middlebury graduation. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. Although it is about a 10 min drive from Middlebury, it is an easy drive and didn’t seem that far.

This was our third stay with Doug and Robyn. Our daughter and her husband live down the road so the location wins a lot of points. Beautiful and peaceful site outside and large, open, but cozy space inside. You're likely to find beer, sparkling water, a bit of cheese and some eggs from the on-site coop when you arrive along with full setup for coffee and tea.

I had an extended stay at the studio. I loved the beauty and sound of the water falls. The location is in the middle of town close to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery, shopping, and hiking. The studio was spotless. The kitchen is equipped for most anything you want to cook. The space is large. The bed is comfortable even though it is a Murphy bed. There is adequate closet space. Bathroom was well equipped and stocked. Note that there are businesses that also use the entrance to the building. You will need to lock the door to the street at night. We kept the key in the lock box so it was available if we were locked out by another tenant. The studio is very private and quiet at night as no one is in the building. The WiFi can be spotty and this is in the description. The owners were very responsive with my concern regarding connection issues. I highly recommend staying here. It has been my favorite of all stays in Middlebury and I have stayed at many.

David and Hannah have created a perfect Vermont getaway. The studio is stylish, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. Bristol is a charming location with easy access to everything Vermont offers. The hosts are kind, responsive, and truly care about the guest experience. From the comfy bed to the well-appointed kitchen, everything was just right. We'll absolutely be back!

Dutton’s place was perfect. We came for Middlebury’s commencement with our 6 year old and the location was excellent and quiet. Our son loved how cozy it was. The kitchen was really great to have on such a busy weekend. Dutton was super flexible and helpful too, letting us stay a few extra hours so our grad could finishing packing up her room. The bed was firm, just good to know. We all slept well. Absolutely recommend.
