Nostalgic schoolhouse near beach and mountains

Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Olvika

Relax with the whole family in peaceful and idyllic Olvika, on the mainland in Lurøy municipality only 80 km from Mo i Rana! Here you can fish and swim from the floating jetty, hike along the seashore or explore the beautiful and varied nature nearby. The cabin has two bedrooms, a large loft, and an associated annex. Large cabin with a lovely view, boat and sauna

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private hot tub right by the water and an outdoor jacuzzi (included in the price). Great hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top hikes and shorter family hikes for you.

Cabin in Gildeskål

Bring the whole family for cozy up in the main cabin at Cool Cabins, on beautiful Sandhornøy. Here you will find ready-made beds, and everything you would need for a nice stay. There is access to beach on the property, fishing opportunities, as well as plenty of hiking opportunities and excursions nearby. We recommend a trip to Elias Blix cafe, possibly for the perfect trip up Sandhornet (993 meters). And perhaps the host can offer you a guided boat tour at a reasonable price.

Here you can experience the Svartisen glacier, two national parks, mountains for both winter and summer use and a fantastic archipelago with several inhabited islands.
