Kawartha Lakeside Haven

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. It seems like it’s their br

We had a fantastic stay at Jen and Chad’s place. If you are planning to mountain bike the property connects directly to the Millbrook Valley Trails. It also links to the Ganaraska trail system. The property is private, with a great fire pit, a cozy interior, and comfortable bedding.

Historic Log Cabin with all Amenities

DmytroRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Logic Cabin, hosted by Oliver and Frank—and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the pristine condition of the cabin and the entire property. The craftsmanship is unbelievable—real, solid wood throughout the cabin, and every inch clearly made with love, care, and incredible attention to detail. The property itself is massive and entirely forested, offering complete privacy and peace. There are small ponds scattered around the grounds, and even the roads leading in and around the property are beautiful and immaculately maintained. Oliver and Frank are not only great hosts—they’re incredibly sweet, genuine people who clearly pour their hearts into creating a space that feels both welcoming and magical. We left feeling deeply refreshed and connected, and there's no question that we’ll be back. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this is it.
