Cabin vacation rentals in Nelson County

We stayed here for a bachelor party and had a great time! The house slept 10 of us comfortably. Enjoyed using the fire pit, grilling in at the house, and playing shuffle board in the basement. This Airbnb is close to Heritage Hills golf course, which is a nice public golf course in Louisville area. Also very close to Jim Bean, which has a great distillery tour on a beautiful property.

We had a wonderful stay! Dustin responded right away when I had questions. We felt at home and had so much to do at the house. The barn was a huge hit with kids and they liked fishing the pond! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need to cook when needed. The peacock visited us twice, he was so pretty! We hiked at Mammoth Cave, hiked and saw the Forest Giants at Bernheim Arboretum, visited The Jim Beam Distillery and downtown Bardstown restaurants and shops! So much fun, it made for a memorable birthday celebration.

We really enjoyed the place, we had a group of 9 visiting the bourbon trail. We spent each night cooking and eating at the house. The cigar room was really well done and the game room is larger than expected and really nicely done as well. Overall a great experience.

Just as advertised! Our host communicated with us quickly. No issues with the house or location. Very peaceful. Would highly recommend!

Will definitely be revisiting. Already recommended the place to my friends and families. The house was neat and clean when we arrived. Very thoughtful host. It had everything we wanted and needed, inside and outside. My family wanted a place where it is safe for the kids to play outside and this place had it all. The view from the house in every direction was breathtaking. We also saw some cows and calves up on the hill from the front door. Stunning sunrises and the morning sound of chickens and birds. Our kids loved the hot tub and the bubble baths on the tub inside. They had the binder with emergency contacts and places to visit. We went to one of the places they recommended and loved it. We absolutely loved the place and would definitely recommend.

The place had a wide open but warm feel letting in plenty of light during the day. We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and also took short hikes into the woods alongside the creek - which were so peaceful and nice. The master bedroom was cozy as well to relax in and watch movies. John was very accommodating to meet all of our needs!

It was perfect for our group. It had everything we needed! It was clean, well appointed and well organized. Directions were perfect even though it is somewhat remote. Lauren is a wonderful host and I would rent from her again in a heartbeat.

David’s house was wonderful. We had no trouble finding the place. The scenery and the cows were a definite plus! Lots of room to hang out inside and outside.

Cozy and comfy cabin, however,no washing machine as indicated in the ad. It matters if you want to stay longer than a weekend. Overall,great place for great outdoors with even greater purpose of supporting and honoring our soldiers.

This place is Beautiful! There was a storm the first night we stayed. Mary messaged me making sure we were alright. Which was very sweet and reassuring to know she was worried about us. (Ps; the rain looked absolutely stunning from the wonderful view we had. Very calming.) The house is simply peaceful and beautiful. A wonderful distraction from the stresses of life. We went here for my nieces bachelorette party and she had a wonderful and lovely time. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful, quiet, and stress free getaway. Mary and Dave, you guys are awesome! Thank you so much for letting me stay in your beautiful home. 💙

Completely exceeded my expectations! I honestly could've just stayed at the cabin & not done anything else. The property is beautiful. The location is an easy drive to Bardstown or Danville, yet far enough away to offer complete privacy! The drive is gravel, so if you visit during the winter, I'd recommend a 4-wheel drive. A marker pointing to the cabin once you enter the drive would be nice as well, but overall, it was easy to find. My only real complaint is that I didn't book longer!

Wonderful experience at Boone’s Cabin! Secluded setting in a great location for the Bourbon Festival. Cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sheila was very proactive and even got us in early! Would definitely visit again.
