The Wheelhouse Inn - CROW'S NEST

The Crow's Nest is a standalone unit situated at the top of the property. It is the most spacious of our 5 accommodations with the biggest views. Everyroom has spectacular views over Tasman Bay to the ranges in the west. The Crow's Nest has 2 bedrooms ... the master with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, stove, fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, sugar and a full range of crockery and cutlery. From there you can move to the dining room or out on to the spacious balcony which has a bbq and outdoor seating for casual dining. The lounge has a flat screen tv, dvd and there is Free WIFI. The bathroom is upstairs with the master bedroom and has a shower, toilet and also a washing machine and dryer. Free parking is directly outside your accommodation and the whole unit is surrounded by native bush.

The central business district is just a 2 minute walk away where you will find an array of café's, bars, restaurants, shops and recreational facilities. The apartment is quiet and private with a beautiful garden outlook and sleeps a couple plus one in comfort. Children stay free. There is a designated on-street car park directly in front of the house. With The Abel Tasman, and Nelson Lakes National Parks just a 1.5 hour drive, this is a fantastic location from which to explore the Nelson region. We assume that guests will be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 and we can not accept bookings from unvaccinated people

My place is a sunny, charming bijou apartment in an 1880's villa just 10 min walk to the historical cathedral with cafés, alfresco dining & famous Nelson Saturday market close by. I'm also near the Maitai river with cycle-paths, walks, swimming & picnics. I have a little private outdoor garden area with table & chairs, BBQ Grill, fresh herbs, grapes & feijoas. My place sleeps 2 in comfort, the bathroom is en suite. If you are 3, there is also a fold-out chair bed and extra bedding. Enjoy!

The apartment is bright, spacious and welcoming, with its own access and large sunny deck area and is perfect for couples. People love staying here! Nelson city centre is a pleasant 15 minutes walk along the clear Brook stream. Mountainbike and walking trails are 500m away. The wildlife sanctuary is 2km up the road. We can help outdoor enthusiasts plan their time here and are happy to safely store expensive bikes. Private, comfortable place right next door to MTB and walking trails!
