And we are a small farmer who grows rice and multi-product vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We provide the rice and vegetables we have grown during your stay, as well as fresh eggs grown in Kumano. The kitchen of the house is also equipped with condiments and cooking utensils. We hope you will enjoy cooking with us. My guidebook contains information about the surrounding area. In addition to the main text, as "other things to note" I will explain the house rules. Please confirm before you book. In this spacious and serene space, you can relax, do yoga, go to the nearby hot springs, and refresh your soul. We're also planning to start a tent sauna, and are working on that. Tea and water are available at the guest house, but meals are not included. Whether you shop at the supermarket and cook, or eat out, we leave that up to you. The nearest convenience stores and supermarkets are about 3 km from the guest house, so we recommend that you come after you have finished shopping. There are also 3 hot springs within 15 to 30 minutes by car. If you would like to use them, we will provide you with towels and more. We look forward to meeting you. The fireflies began to dance. A magical world. The entire ancient house "Makomo House" is for rent, featuring a traditional irori hearth and a Goemon bath.

Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities? Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, such as the rustling of makomo leaves, the babbling of the river, the chirping of birds, the chorus of frogs, and the sound of deer.

This guesthouse is located on the grounds of the former Hirohashi Elementary School.The building, formerly a teacher's residence, was renovated into a guesthouse. The bath is a traditional Japanese wood-fired bath. You can experience heating water with firewood. ■The house can accommodate up to 10 people. ■No meals are included.There is no supermarket within walking distance. "A Co-op" 15 minutes by car. "Life" and "Okuwa" 20 minutes by car. ■It's cold until around March.Please be warm.

Please experience or your friends and genuine good old Japanese life with your family. The newly-built room is equipped with air conditioning, a strong water shower and a washroom with a washlet.
